She loved this because it was somewhere related to what she had seen before in the High Realm. She instantly loved the driftwood that came upon the buoyant waves as tiny rescue boats. Then there was the seaweed, that flora of those salty waves, as deeply green as any high summer foliage. Her favourite though, as she could recall while she was still up on the high Realm, out of everything was that it was here upon the softly rolling dunes, was the tall, tall grass that whispered so sweetly into the gusting breeze.

The hall was becoming too hot and i felt like i would explode if she called my name one more time. I had heard of the true Sirens. We called them Enchantresses. "There's a fairy eater in seelie lands," it squeaks. Nyx looked at me and I shook my head. "They've all been destroyed, you're mistaken," I frowned, and waved my hand and Flynn appeared. Nyx growls at him. "You're good McKenna," he grins. I rolled my eyes at the agent.

Neither do I. We just sit there, bones warm from the fire, everything else cold and burning at once. Then, after a pause, a younger girl speaks up from beyond the firelight. “Want to hear the tale of the sea spirits?” There are nods. Someone chuckles. “They live deep below the waves,” the girl begins, her voice clear. “They wear the faces of those the ocean has claimed. They whisper to sailors and take your voice if you answer.”

Sapphire told me a story once, about a group of sea creatures that were solely dedicated to evil and their evil queen who sought nothing but to claim every ocean and destroy other life forms that aren't her species. They call themselves Mirties Perlai and were another race of mermaids. They didn't have tails and possessed incredible powers. The queen was extremely evil but the other sea creatures led by the sea king attacked them and they were destroyed. The queen got away and lived with humans for the rest of her days.

There's only one female that I have ever actually had eyes for. Senora was a beautiful creature and every part of me wanted her. Where fairy women were supposed to work simple jobs and take care of house chores, Senora worked at a local horse stable doing farm work and training horses.
