Lucas smiled faintly. Then, Lucas sauntered out of the room. Upon arrival at the backyard of the Poverty Cove, he noticed all of them were terrified because there were hundreds of men from the Ghost Shadows appearing before them.

She nodded and got into the car not saying any word to the man. Immediately she entered, he drove off into the dark starless night. He didn't say any word to her throughout the drive and neither did she say any word to him. They were silent till he drove to a secluded area, the whole area was so serene she though maybe he'd come here to kill her. Consciously, she brought out her loaded shotgun, in case she needed to defend herself. "Here we're, My boss is in that house." He pointed to a cabin not far away from where he parked, that was when she noticed that there was actually some few houses around.

Cade says. "Typical. He sounds like a fucking pussy." I say. We climb down the fire escape and Tyler sends text messages to everyone to let them know where the nest is. We meet everyone outside of the loading dock and point to the warehouse. "We can attack during the day. The vampires are all huddled against one wall to avoid the sunlight. That we can handle. (Ethan’s POV) It is almost sunset, and the hotel’s roof garden was one of the most incredible spots of the Grand Lake Hotel. You can already see from here the beauty of Springville Town. Shadow joined them, keeping her eye on the suspected ports. It was midnight but still, there were no signs of any ship or any suspicious activity. “Why isn’t there any ship?” Shadow frowned, looking at her smartwatch. Taking out her walkie-talkie, she contacted others. To her disappointment, their response was negative. She bit her lower lip, trying to remember the map which she went through before leaving. Her eyes widened a bit when she remembered that an unused small port was located relatively farther than other ports. She immediately contacted her men only to come to know that no one was watching over there.

[That man's POV] Coven House was dark and cold inside, with only red lights burning everywhere as if fires were lit in the middle of every room. The air was thick, hot, and stank of blood, clinging to everything like a mist. It wasn't something that could be wiped away by water – the scent remained even though someone bathed after. It was so strong one could almost taste it when they breathed. This coven was the stronghold of the Dark Shadow Coven, which, like the Gravefur Pack, was based on the East Coast.

“Signal Ghost. Tell him to use the Pennsylvania decoy route. Make it look like an ambush.” Zayn types quickly. “Done.” The team we hired is ex-military—mercenaries with no allegiance beyond money. The ice cracked with a sound like a thunderclap, and the hidden stone door slid open. We ran into the cavern. It was beautiful and terrifying, the walls glowing with a soft, natural light. In the center was the Well...a pool of water so clear it looked like liquid glass. But the Shadow-Weaver was there, his gray skin looking like stone in the half-light. He was chanting, a low, buzzing sound that made my teeth ache. He held the other half of the map, and he was dropping something black into the water. "You're late, Alpha," he hissed.

Through the haze, I saw Lucian dive in without a second thought, swimming fast toward me. Thorne followed, diving in and heading straight for me, ignoring Isolde's cries for help. Griffin stood on the shore, yelling with worry, "Thorne, you can't swim! Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" I felt a jolt of shock. ...Thorne could not swim? I tried hard to open my eyes, which were already blurry, and looked over to see Thorne flailing in the water. He really could not swim at all and was quickly sinking.
