But I saw something strange in the upstairs sitting area, so I walked over towards the back of the couch and I saw my stepmother Jillian passed out with a martini glass in her hand.

No emotion. It sounded like an echo of a person who had once existed. Hazel stared. “Are you him?” The silhouette didn't answer. Instead, it said: “You remembered too much.” Hazel stepped forward. “Where are you?” “Far away.” “Are you alive?”

Aggie knitted her eyebrows together again before realisation finally dawned on her. “OOOOHHHH,” she swatted her hand in the air as she turned back to face Thea and Penny. “Zohria knows about us, you don’t have to be so secretive around her,” she giggled as she tucked a lock of her copper hair behind her ear. Bellamy turned to look at Zohria, his forehead creasing as he tilted his head. “You’re a succubus? That’s an interesting turn of events.” A knowing smirk spread across his face.

Shiloh immediately gestures Butler Ulric to open it and without a word, he follows. 'Would there be another surprise visitors?' I ask myself. But I disregard my own thoughts when Shiloh smirks. "We need to follow Hira," He said in flash and immediately follow Hira's track. And I don't know why our bodies automatically follow where he goes. A few moments after, we reach an unfamiliar hallway. We are not new to this house, but this is the first time I saw this part of the house. It's eerie, actually.

'The baby conversation' "Holy Shittttt!" Brian cursed, running a hand over his face. "Laurel knew and She didn't see the need to say anything to me? What the hell is wrong with her?" He said to himself and then stormed out of the study room to go confront his younger sister. Just when Brian was about to make his way towards the staircase that led to the second floor where Laurel's room was, he heard a peal of very familiar laughter which made him stop in his tracks. He turned around and traced the sound to one the living rooms which was just a couple of steps away from his father's study room.

Smiling to myself, I close my eyes, letting the noise consume me. As the pilot announces our arrival over the intercom, my eyes flutter open and the vast lake before me that once seemed to suffocate me felt calm, lonely. Scanning the surroundings, I spot it. I loved reading books, when I schooled with the normals, I ate up all their stories. I grabbed a book from the shelf, turning it over to read it. “Ancient Spell Casting,” I read out loudly. Donae waved her hand, and the book left mine suddenly, returning to its spot on the shelves. “Sorry, I was curious,” I said, walking over to her bench. She rarely spoke, I realized. “What's a hilly billy?” I asked her. “ A hilly billy is a plant that cures blindness. It's gotten from Hell.”, she spoke calmly.
