11-BEING HIM Athena woke up in an unfamiliar room, her senses immediately assaulted by an eerie silence. She lay there quietly, keeping her eyes closed, trying to gather her bearings. The beeping of the machines that surrounded the bed matched her breaths, the only indications of her heartbeat, her existence in this strange place.

“You’ll regret this, Mr. Silvester. Mark my words. One day, you’ll come begging for mercy, and I’ll be the one holding all the power.” Mr. Silvester’s expression didn’t change. He simply shrugged, turning his attention back to the papers on his desk. “We’ll see about that,” he replied calmly. Amy turned on her heel and stormed out of the office with anger fuming in her heart, slamming the door behind her, but Mr Silvester didn’t flinch. He watched her go, then picked up his pen and resumed his work as if nothing had happened.

I nodded while I looked around the quiet Dark Pub we were in. “Can I get you something?” an old man asked while staring at me. I was sure he was the bartender. “Get me two cold beers” Ten ordered while going through his jeans. He came out with a leather wallet. The moment he clicked it open thousands of bank notes appeared. “Coming right up” replied the old man heading to the shelves. “So, tell me Siren are you and Jack…” Ten said while taking the two beers from the old man. “Of course, not” I quickly replied. “We are just friends.”

They giggled and whispered. Silas walked up onto the stage and stood in front of all of them with his hands placed on his hips. He cleared his throat. The breaking sound of the glass that comes off the table rang out in the whole house. There, a guy came out of the house while hanging his empty bag on his shoulder. He has this blank and emotionless face while walking out of the house. He looked at his own Harry Winston wrist watch that was a gift to him by his father.
