“What’s your name?” “Kala,” she whispers, her voice barely audible. “I’m from Canines Town.” “Kala,” I repeat softly. “Can you stand?” She nods faintly, and I loop her arm over my shoulders, hoisting her up. She’s light as a feather, her fragile body swaying against mine. With slow steps, I guide her through the market and back toward the packhouse. * * * “Jessica, fetch Lucy,” I instruct as I settle Kala onto the guestroom bed. Her head barely touches the pillow before she’s asleep, her breathing shallow but steady.

I say as Deimos ultimately frees his male who races straight ahead towards the couch along with Lumina who follows closely behind. "Mama I am hungry!" Kal whines leaping upon the couch playfully whilst his inquisitive eyes take in our new home. It is his first time here yet he acts as though he has been here several times before. I like that from Kal he is not the introverted kind of pup like my Tadeas.

"How can I be jealous of a woman who I never knew? I tend to erase the women you were with before you met me. I don't want to be psychotic like Heather." Liam laughed. "I'm being serious here, Liam. Who is Kala?" He hovered his naked and broad chest above me, and the hungry look in his eyes was scary yet. I'm not afraid, but I like this feeling of being the prey of this handsome majestic creature. "Kala was a woman who was our neighbor and friend that looked after us since Rex was born." Oh...

Those were the last words Kalina heard before she drifted off into a deep sleep. Meanwhile, back in the Kingdom of Nigella, chaos erupted after Kalina’s departure. Moments earlier, they’d seen it with their own eyes: a blinding light. Drawn by the white mist that wrapped around her body, it carried her out the window. Kalina’s form floated into the sky, aligning with the full moon, as if being pulled up. Then she vanished.

The last thing I saw and heard before all went black was Remy mid shifting rushing back into the apartment and a blood-curdling cackle of laughter. *Author's note: Hope you all are enjoying the story. We are nearing the end of Kalama's journey, only 3 chapters more to go, and we would have to say goodbye to Kalama and the rest. There will not be an update on this Friday as it's Christmas day. With that, I eventually began to walk towards him. However, just before I could even make another step, he raised his palm forward as though he wanted me to stop. It made me wonder why he suddenly did that, until he eventually said, “No, not like that, Leona.” He looked at me very intently before he added, “I want you to crawl towards me... on all fours.” My eyes widened in disbelief, not only because he was flashing a devious grin at me while clutching the other bold end of the chain collar that had been around my neck since I arrived, but also because he wanted me to act like his personal slave dog rather than his wife.

Author's pov: Keira stirred from her light sleep at the sound of footsteps approaching. Her heart skipped, there was something familiar about the scent and for a second there, she thought it was his majesty. But when the door creaked open, it was Kalif who stepped in, and as usual, he had a cold smirk on his lips. “What are you doing here?” She asked, not turning around, her voice cold as she lay facing the wall. “Disappointed? Are you expecting him?”

"Alright, you are Callistaa Russells." Suddenly Cain said. Cali looked up at him in the eyes, visibly shocked. "Huh?" She could not utter anything else from her mouth, still shocked. Did he just say that? Was he saying that he finally believed that she was Callistaa Russells and not his wife, Cali Ruth? An unknown feeling crept up her chest, She felt sad and disappointed. But was not that what she wanted to happen? Then why was she feeling like this? Now that he had finally believed that she was not his wife, he would move on, and that...that thought alone gnawed at her heart. She gulped the thickness in her throat and faked cough.

Kaleah skeptically says before heading back to the dressing room. They watch as she walks away anxiously. Cyan had many things to ask, she was plotting behind her best friends back to match her with an insufferable man, she had already did much as to set a blind date with a stalker, this seem to be worse. “Who has Chemistry?” Cyan asks first when Kaleah was no longer in range. “Oh, where did you see them together? That child had been ignoring my poor grandson like a plague itself.” Melisa asks, dipping her hand at the bowl of popcorn.
