Aku menatap penyihir di depanku dengan putus asa, “Ajari aku bagaimana menggunakan sihir, Kumohon.” “Untuk apa?” tanya penyihir itu ketus, pandangannya terasa sangat merendahkanku. Aku menggigit bibir, “Ada seseorang yang harus ku selamatkan sekarang, aku butuh kekuatan.” “Hm…” ucapnya sambil berjalan mengelilingiku. “Maaf kau tak pantas. Aku tak ingin memiliki murid pengecut sepertimu.” katanya pedas. Aku menyentuh sayatan di leherku yang masih segar. Ya, ku akui aku memang pengecut… tapi, jika bukan karena penyihir di depanku yang sudah memberikanku sedikit harapan mungkin aku tak akan memiliki keberanian seperti sekarang. “Beri aku kesempatan.” kataku sambil menegakkan kepala yang semula tertunduk, “Akan ku buktikan kesungguhanku padamu!” Penyihir itu menyeringai, “Aku suka semangatmu, jangan mengecewakanku.” Katanya sambil berjalan pergi. Aku mengepalkan tangan semangat, masih ada harapan untuk menyelamatkannya. Seseorang dengan manik kemerahan yang sudah menemani hariku yang suram. Diantara jejeran rank kelas atas seperti siren, werewolf, vampir dan makhluk lainnya ia masih mau memilih menemaniku yang hanya seorang manusia biasa pembuat onar di pusat penjualan. He remained hidden, his blue eyes returning to the woman who laid on the floor, with eyes as blue as his. She was staring right at him. Finally, she sees him. Only in death, did she really see him. Something died in that little boy that day. Replaced with bitterness.
