I stood up again, wanting to save Witch Lily, but I was aghast when I saw her falling into the water. Oh, no! I hurried toward her, but suddenly I felt my cheek being cut by a sharp object. I turned around to see the emerald-green mermaid’s face had turned ugly. She snarled, and I saw her sharp pointed teeth. “They are sirens, Aleena! They lure everyone with their songs and pull them underwater, killing them in the process!” Celia explained fast to me.

My ears perk up. "Can you tell me about it? We are looking for it as well, but we don't know what it is. A thing, an animal or man." Gen asked and I was silent because I didn't know anything. "I'm going to tell you because even if you know, you won't be able to find it. Aqua Siren is a mermaid. Three mermaids, beautiful but dangerous. They kill people they don't like. In the past, I always saw them there on the rocks and the scales you see are theirs. But suddenly they left. It's been two days since I saw them." This is a story that made our eyes widen.

I wonder if it would be higher if it wasn’t near the cliffside. My mind kinda went blank as my vision was ensnared by the California shore that passed. It was early in the evening so the sun had just begun to set. The water sparkled and was an almost dark purple shade, which contrasted from the soft pink and golden oranges that swirled in the horizon. I saw some dolphins or seals jump out of the water in the distance. I smiled as it was like they were waving to me and welcoming me into their home.

Mia growled. “A siren, my kind is common—but rarely ever seen, we like to keep to ourselves until we find the perfect potential victim. Your vessel seems impeccable, mind if I take her?” She hissed like a cat. “An here I thought you were a fucking mermaid, same shit, right? The whole taking my vessel idea is out the window dear, sorry but we come as a package and I don’t think she wants to go under the sea with you, right Remi?”

But about her power and strength was remained secret throughout the kingdom for the sake of her safety and welfare except for Wamus, Alenna and Lilo, who were close friends of her late mother. Samantha grew up without her parents so she grew resilient from all the challenges in her life and brave but known as the most rebellious mermaid in their kingdom. She is always the reason why some mermaids were punished for leading them to the place they are forbidden to go because of the danger. But every punishment she receives she just goes through it jokingly as if nothing has happened. Samantha were a cheerful mermaid and because of her stubbornness, Alenna once imprisoned her for using her power

They needed to teach these humans a lesson or they would never stop. In her anger Norma sang a war siren, one that was beautiful and pleasant to hear but those who heard it could not help but feel sad. They did not know what the siren meant as there were no words they could understand but it pulled at their heartstrings making them feel sad and vulnerable. They stopped what they were doing and listened. One would have to be heartless if they did not feel sad when they heard that siren. It was a war cry, Norma chose the siren because it spoke of how blood should spill to cleanse bad deeds.

Kayla says coming towards us. "Both mermaids or sirens. Some people believe them to be the same but they are actually two different species." I reply, doing my best to hide my nervousness and trying not to spill my guts about everything right now. "Right, now I know where I'll go next time we have tests to study for. And what was with that inhuman sprint to the cafeteria leaving me behind?" She asks, raising an eyebrow with a laugh. "Ehm... nothing? I just needed to see Sebastian..." Is my embarrassing reply.

Tears slide down my face looking into the crowd. “If you stay here Serenity, you will die in the moral world. It is only an option, as right now, you are teetering on the boarder of life and death. I can push you back to the other side, where you will live your life as any other wolf would. Alternatively, if you decide to stay, I can pull you this way, but you will be trained to me the Moon Goddess. As my daughter, that is your right, and will always be yours no matter when you leave the mortal world.” Selene says. I tear my eyes away reluctantly from the people of my pack that have been lost for generations.
