Slim I stared down at her, waiting for her to speak. Her eyes widened just a bit, and I knew I caught her off-guard. But as she laughed, I raised an eyebrow. "That," she paused to laugh. "That was smooth," she said, pulling away from me as she laughed. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned back against the railing, waiting for her to sober up. As untimely as this was, it amused me how she could laugh in serious situations. It seemed like the only time she was genuinely happy.

Slap! The slap came fast and unexpectedly, the sound of it echoing off the walls like a gunshot. Cathleen's handprint bloomed across Xavier’s face, red and damning. "This is all your fault," she spat out, venomously lacing her words. "The juice I drank tasted funny. Someone put something in that juice, and you are to be blamed for all this. What if it was Olivia? She might have given birth to your heir now, right? And you must be very happy since my daughter died."

“Are you here to laugh at me, North?!” Reina charged forward like a madwoman, raising her hand to slap North. “You think I’m a joke, don’t you?! You b*tch—” Smack! The sound of a loud slap interrupted Reina’s ranting. “Laugh at you?” North took her hand back calmly before saying sincerely, “No, I’m just here to hit you.” She punctuated her sentence with another loud smack. Reina got slapped on the left cheek, causing her to feel a burning pain.

Lily, in her enthusiasm to join the merriment, suddenly finds herself slipping on the freshly mopped floor, her feet losing their grip and her body descending rapidly to the ground. A collective gasp escapes our lips, quickly followed by uncontrollable laughter. Lily’s eyes widen in surprise as she hits the floor with a resounding thud, her limbs splayed in comical fashion. Amidst our fits of laughter, we struggle to regain our composure as Lily valiantly attempts to rise.

"Maybe then you'll have a quick ending. Or even emerge unscathed! Wouldn't that be nice?" "Are you sick or something?" I spit on the ground. "Look who decided to speak!" she says, laughing. "Too bad it was a terrible choice of words!" I feel the sting and impact of a slap thrown on my face. The taste of rust fills my mouth. Hell of an iron flavor. I must have torn my cheek in the process. Holy God. I spit the reddish saliva on the floor. They laugh when I do. A macabre and eerie laugh was shared by the two of them.

SLAP! Gillian, who couldn’t take the demeaning words from the cynical bastard anymore, raised her hands and gave him a fierce and hot slap on the cheek. She pointed at him, her body trembling and her face reddened due to rage. "You bastard. Who do you think you are? So what if he's a retard? He's better than a cynical scum like you." She retorted with a scowl Without paying further attention to him, Gillian storms out of the club.

My face twisted in a grimace of disgust. "Can you fucking hold yourself from laughing ?! Your saliva we're literally spitting on me!" I irritatedly complain. I scoffed when I felt her palm land on my face without hesitation, a sarcastic little chuckle came out of my mouth. Is that it? Too weak, maybe she wants me to give a sample? Her slap was literally obvious that she didn't really intend to do it. She took a step back when she hears me silently chuckling "Tss, coward."

His whole company would go bankrupt with one word from the Celestial Group. Slap! Slap! Slap! The others immediately followed as soon as the first person began slapping himself. The whole venue resonated with slapping sounds. The other onlookers could only gasp. The scene was once-in-a-century. “W-what are you guys doing? Get up! Stop this!” Thea was so shocked that she almost burst into tears. It was just a few words about her. It was not such a big deal. This was simply unnecessary!

Got it. Zhou kept going. “Kid!” He stopped himself the moment the word left his mouth. Both hands came up and he slapped both sides of his face at the same time. “My mouth — what is wrong with you.” He cleared his throat. “Young man, I apologize.” Another slap. He searched for the right word, trying several in his head before landing on one. “Master! Grandpa! I tell you—” The room had been barely holding it together since the self-slapping started. Laughter and shock mixed into something nobody knew how to handle.
