My anxiety doubles, and I find myself inhaling and exhaling sharply.
“Dora, where are you?”
Out of the blues my eyes turn, and I grab the wall for support. I feel a warm liquid pour from my nose, and I instinctively raise my head up, before raising hand towards the spot, checking with my fingers. I wipe, looking down at them, they are covered in blood, and I rush into the house.
I rush to the bathroom, rinsing the blood away from my nose and wiping every stain that would give me away.
