Smell Blood In Nose Novels & Stories

Judging by the copious blood flowing from my nose, I must have looked like a character from a crime scene. "Yes," I managed to reply through clenched teeth, my eyes brimming with tears – a common reaction when anger overwhelmed me. Mrs. Haggadah dampened the rag and began gently cleaning the blood from my face. She then dipped Q-tip ends into the warm water, carefully tending to the blood inside my nostrils. Afterward, she handed me two pieces of balled-up toilet paper, which I inserted into each nostril, tilting my head upward to stanch the bleeding.

Shane’s voice sounded wheezy because of nosebleed. Audrey anxiously opened the door and saw the man kneeling on the floor while holding his nose filled with blood. “Oh my gosh! You’re bleeding!” She looked around to find something that she might use to stop the blood flow from his nose but in fact, she didn’t have any idea how to do it thus she was also clueless about what she should find to help him. “Ugh! Help me up,” Shane murmured under his breath. Other than his nose, he seemed fine. Audrey nodded her head furiously and pulled him up by the hand. She led him to the bathroom by instinct and let the water flow from the faucet.

Blood is still dripping from my broken nose, and I try so hard not to think about it. Eventually, I try to get up, but everything hurts, and my body refuses to move. I stay still for a few more minutes, then I try to get up again. It takes me five minutes to stand up. My legs are shaking, and I steady myself with the help of the counter. And I smell it. I look down, and I see blood on the white floor. The smell and sight of it make me faint. Memories that haunt me every night creep into my mind–memories that will torment me forever.

“I can smell it. The scent is strong, I worry for you.” I blink, confused. “Smell what?” His response came a moment later. “Blood. I can smell blood Crinka.”

It was as though something wasn't right, but I couldn't place my finger on it. I let out a sigh, pushing myself up and taking the bowl back to the freezer—some other time, maybe. I dumped the spoon in the sink and walked out the kitchen. I was just about to head upset when my nose picked up a scent, one I wasn't supposed to pick up so easily but I did… It was blood. My head snapped around instantly as my eyes searched the Hall. I tried to trace where it was coming from, but there was barely one around. I walked down the stairs again and followed the smell, down the hall and all the way to Sven's office door.

I had to do something because my brain was going to explode. I flared my nose and there it was, his scent, I clenched my fists since I could feel that he was not alone, his scent was corrupted with someone else's. I walked to the direction where it was coming from, my eyes were burning red and I clenched my teeth until I tasted blood.

The air is thick with acrid smoke, choking me with its bitter taste. My eyes burn, the stinging sensation making them water as I struggle to see through the haze. I cover my ears with my hands, curling into myself as ear-piercing screams ring out from every direction. The terrified, horror-filled cries send shivers down my spine, making my body tremble to the bone. Though my sense of smell is weak, the coppery scent of blood still assaults my nose, making my stomach roil with nausea. The smell is overpowering, and I can almost taste the metallic tang on my tongue.

I don’t know if it’s because I have death on my mind when I close my eyes, but for the first time, I wake up with the scent of blood in my nose, the metallic taste on my tongue. And death behind my eyes. I fly out of the bed and rush to the bathroom and retch acid runs up my throat, and nose, a shudder runs through me.

But I still want to be with him, even if I'm likely to die. "So you talked to Amos about it?" I asked once again. Noah nods his head. At night, I stood in front of the bathroom mirror and looked at myself in the mirror. The nosebleed was flowing more than the last time and this situation only seemed to get worse. I unscrewed the faucet and let the hot water wash away the smell of blood so Noah wouldn't notice. I didn't get out of the bathroom until the bleeding stopped. but ran into Noah .

Though, I didn't feel any pain. I grabbed the tissue paper from the side of the counter and pressed it up against my nose but nothing helped with the bleeding. My blood spilled out like water. Never-ending. My chest beat faster but the flow from my nose was quicker. Unstoppable. I thrashed tissue paper soaked in blood left and right, filling up the bathroom with them soon. "It's not stopping. Why is it not stopping?" I snapped, grabbing a handful more tissue papers.
