Before, a puff of smoke surrounds them. I watched a group of black wolves race through the academy’s gates behind the enormous wolf. They attack the creatures. “Come on. They’re here to help,” Shannen yells as she helps me to my feet. “I feel dizzy,” I tell her as I try to stand up. Shannen pulls my good arm over her shoulder and helps me walk towards the academy.

Pack members began to troop into the pack Academy. The Academy, located in the middle of the woods, was the biggest building compared to the packed building where the Alpha stays. It was built for the activities being held. It was a place where wolves are trained, especially the pups. They were taught in the academy in groups how to control their wolf and how to do the combat fight when they can't shift, maybe due to how weak their wolves are.

•Serena's POV• The Academy of Dark Arts. The Academy was made out of dark stone. Aged bricks bearing the weight of the massive structure. The long yards of plush white carpeting, overlaid by Tibetan rugs clashed with the newly designed crystal chandeliers. The Academy also had a prison where guilty witches and warlocks await their punishment. They were to serve us and make us more powerful and dominant over every other pack in the realm.

The freezing water colliding against my bare skin numbs me to the point where I forget my pain. We wait for the rest of our pack members at the lobby of where we first entered. It's jam packed with people and I'm feeling quite antsy about it. We have at least five warriors and two healers within the academy's given age range and position, yet not even one of them have made their appearance. I honestly don't understand how the learning system works in this academy. The council's motives are to enhance our abilities as future leaders but I highly doubt that. They show no mercy or compassion to any wolf.

The pleated royal blue and gold skirts, black tall socks, black loafers, button up white shirts with royal blue blazers and gold ties have me feeling like I'm staring in some kind of porno. I mean the academy itself is amazing, and probably a good idea with how often we exposed ourselves to humans in the past at normal schools. It's just these uniforms that drive me insane. I don't particularly like being away from home for so long either, but the classes here are amazing. I can learn everything I need to know about being a siren and a dragon all at once.
