Falling for the Disgraced Heir

Falling for the Disgraced Heir

Just the way his thumb strokes the inside of her wrist, grounding her, changing the meaning of everything that comes after. Applause is tentative, then sincere. The families remain separate, but respectful. No lines crossed. No wounds reopened. As the gathering disperses, the sky finally gives in. Rain begins to fall—soft at first, then steadier, washing the air clean. Julia steps under the awning, watching the drops streak the ground. Brandon joins her, slipping his jacket around her shoulders without comment. She looks up at the darkening sky, feeling oddly complete. “Funny,” she says. “The rain always used to mean something was about to fall apart.”

The Coming of the Quiet Rain

The Coming of the Quiet Rain

While clinging to the last bit of my strength, I stood up, grabbed the divorce agreement from my handbag, and threw it at Jake’s face. “I’m divorcing you, Jake!” Then, right before Jake’s disbelieving gaze, I stumbled toward the door, but soon after I started walking, my vision turned black entirely, and I fell forward again. Right before I lost consciousness, I heard shouting. “Mrs. Green is bleeding!” “Call the ambulance!” “Luna!”

The Billionaire's Secret Baby

The Billionaire's Secret Baby

The final secret—the one that would truly shatter them—was still waiting. And the rain kept falling. Like it was counting down. Like it knew the end was close. Like it was waiting for the moment one of them would speak the words that would burn the house down.

Rain's Rebellion

Rain's Rebellion

“I could. But it won’t matter. Your camera won’t be working, which means no sound will be recorded either. It’ll be fine. Just tell him.” Rain watched Mist turn around and walk out of the room before she returned her gaze out the window. How her friend could say it would be fine was beyond her. From Rain’s perspective, it would never be fine again. She did her best to let the raindrops carry her thoughts away as she tried not to think about the future, but it was nearly impossible, and as the rain picked up she realized she no longer needed to make a decision about whether or not she was a part of this. Mist and Adam had already made that decision for her.

Entangle Me

Entangle Me

I'm at the climax where the girl realises that the boy of her dreams was in front of her face the whole time, and she runs in the rain to find him. I always cringe at romantic scenes in the rain. Are they in that much of a hurry? Can't they catch a cab? Why can't they grab an umbrella?Oh what the hell, I still love the happy ending no matter how corny it is. As long as they get together, it doesn't matter!

My Boyfriend's Dad?

My Boyfriend's Dad?

We lie on the bed. Damon's head is on my chest. My fingers are in his hair. His hair is soft. The rain is loud. "I am happy," he says. "I know." "I am not used to it." "You are getting used to it." "I am trying." "That is enough." He closes his eyes. I watch his face. The rain falls. The world turns. The room is small and warm and full of nothing and everything. --- The rain stops in the evening. The sky clears.

Legendary Ultima Alpha

Legendary Ultima Alpha

Rain hated that she had to force him to reclaim his title, but she would do whatever needed to be done to protect the ones she loved. They each bought new clothing, Rain picking out edgier clothing than she normal chose for her wardrobe. She packed their necessities and new clothing into a backpack and got on Tony’s new motorcycle that would take them to their final destination. They travelled for an hour before it got late. As the sun set, they decided to call it a day and find somewhere safe to sleep for the night. To avoid being detected by anyone, they set up a tent in the woods to camp out. After they cooked fish over a small campfire, they finished their dinner and went to bed. Rain ha

Alpha Shane

Alpha Shane

I said. She paused. She didn’t say anything. She didn’t ask about what happened. She didn’t even nod her head. She opened the door and walked out. I ran and closed the door behind her. I didn’t bother holding back my sobs as I bolted the door. I turned from the door, my back against the wood, and slid down to my backside. The dam broke free and the tears fell of their own volition now. I threw my head back against the door and stared out the window. The clouds were gray and it was starting to rain. I could taste it in the air. The sound of rain filled the room as it started to fall down hard. It was soothing in a way, the sound of rain as it washed everything away. I scrambled to my feet and

Ange
I want to know what ends up happening for Shane and Adea. I feel like I’m wasting money to read the same thing over and over again. I was hoping this book would be focused on the life after last book not everything that led up to the curse. Besides the forced sex scenes are overdone and repetitive.

So glad we got a flashback to understand Shane and Adea’s beginning to their story and can’t wait to see how it ends…this journey has been so great! It’s been awhile since the last update…will we see new chapters anytime soon?

In The End, All Ties Are Severed

In The End, All Ties Are Severed

Next, some liquid splashed down, and her bones shattered, then slowly dissolved into a puddle of water. The water evaporated under intense heat, leaving behind nothing but an empty and spotless surface. The video stopped. On the darkened screen, Jason saw his own bloodshot eyes staring back. “She... really left me with nothing...” His voice was a broken mix of laughter and tears. He sounded deranged, as though he had lost his mind. Eric, who was standing nearby, could not bear it anymore and stepped forward. “Mr. Fender...” The man with glasses spoke softly. “Our deepest condolences.”
