Ring

Ring

She grinned and stepped back, motioning to the canvas below her feet “Step into my office” Like a zombie, I obeyed, stripping off my jacket and shirt first before climbing through the ropes Inside, I stared across at my soulmate, who was clenching and un-clenching her fists and grinning rather wickedly. “What now?” I asked although I already knew. “Now, you spar with me and if you win, I’ll do more than give you my number” she paused and smiled at me “I’ll go home with you” Dimly, I heard Seth call out to me, his voice panicked “don’t do it bro! She’ll rip you to shreds and that’s just putting it lightly”

Savage

I say, turning away but leaving my door open. I hear her knock as softly as she possibly can. “Meadow?” she calls, her voice barely above a whisper. I shake my head and go to my suitcase that I never unpacked yesterday. I grab my sparring clothes which consist of spandex boy shorts, and a basic spandex sports bra. I don’t bother with shoes. I don’t use them when I spar. No one in my family or any of the Guardian families do.

How I Became Immortal

How I Became Immortal

Eunho began explaining the rules, “This spar will be simple since there are people that haven’t learned any martial arts as of yet. There will be a couple rules that need to be followed during sparring. No using weapons and that includes any gear that can amplify your abilities.” Yuna raised an eyebrow. Was there such a thing? She never thought that this world would have any magical item that could amplify one's abilities. Was this world supposed to be a magical fantasy world? She wondered if she had missed something throughout the entire time that she lived in this world. Eunho continued, “Sparring will continue until one person is unconscious or if the opponent surrenders. I will also make

Fated Power - Fated Destiny

Fated Power - Fated Destiny

It was like a trainwreck that you could not look away from. They ventured off to the side with Dante and a few volunteers. Ziyah stepped into the sparring circle that we had created for our combat group. There was an impenetrable dome so that nothing would accidently careen into our fellow warriors. That was all that we needed. Two other Light Fae also entered the circle. It seemed that they were going to be practicing two-on-one.

The Dark Moon and Fated series are definitely in my top 10 books of all time! Your ability to tell a story and bring it to life is amazing! When I’m reading I can actually picture it in my head as if I’m watching a movie! Love Dante, Chris, Ziyah and the whole pack! I highly recommend these books!!!

Three books into the Fated Series, and I can't put them down. I've reread everything within them multiple times. Incredible imagination doesn't even begin to cover it. I love this author's creativity and inclusion of various supernatural species, but I especially love the unique take on it all.

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

For convenience sake, Nero also purchased a low-grade interspatial ring. Interspatial rings were meant for storage use. Even though it looked identical to regular rings, the wielder had to use a particular method to activate it for use. Upon activation, a specific area of space would appear depending on the grade of the ring, and it can be used to store any inanimate items.

Once Rejected, Twice Desired

Once Rejected, Twice Desired

“So be it. The rules are as follows: 1. The circle has been blessed. No one outside of it can mindlink anyone on the inside. There will be no unfair advantages. There will be no shifting in this fight. There will be no use of weapons of any sort. The battle lasts as long as it lasts; no outside party can stop it once it starts. You must always remain within the sparring circle. If at any point, you feel that you are unable to continue, you either concede to your opponent or face death. Lastly, once the fight is over, the loser is to renounce all claim to Alaia Miller immediately. That’s it, gentlemen. Please step back to the edge of the circle, and we will begin.”

The Devil Who Claimed Me (M x M)

The Devil Who Claimed Me (M x M)

There’s a full section dedicated to machines, another for free weights. And in the far corner, is my favourite space. The sparring area. A raised mat, enclosed by low padded barriers. Heavy bags hang nearby, along with speed bags and training equipment. Controlled violence. That’s what this place is for. It’s exactly what I need. I move straight to one of the heavy bags, wrapping my hands quickly, efficiently. The bag isn’t centered properly and I fix it before I start. The first punch lands hard. Then another. And another.

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Having more friends meant having more avenues of support. Upon hearing Amara's suggestion, Adrian thought about it and found the plan feasible, agreeing to participate. The so-called sparring tournament was essentially a gathering for apprentices to compete and spar with each other. It was not organized by the elders but was a private initiative among the apprentices. A few high-level apprentices would serve as judges, and the competition would begin.

She would never demean my ability like that, just as I would never do that to her. “First of all, that was in-fucking-credible,” Theo said. Everyone else nodded in agreement. “Secondly, as long as you agree, then you’ll be added to Group One. It includes Jackson, me, Brynn, Daisy, Carver, and then you. It’s our top-tier sparring group. So, what do you say?” Imeela looked taken aback by the offer and looked at me for a moment before she smiled and nodded her head. Good. I would just get to spar with her from now on.

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.
