The next morning, I had the displeasure of the sun’s rays shining straight into my eyes. My eyes burned from lack of sleep. That stupid book kept me up. There was so much new information in there that I was hooked. Basic things that I never even thought about. I only had about a quarter left.

I tried to go back to sleep, to forget about all my problems, but it was impossible. I was awake for a while, lying there, staring at my white ceiling. Finally I picked myself up and started reading the novel I have abandoned for a while now. It was quite easy to be distracted but I chose to focus. I was with the book in hand before I went back to sleep, this time around though I didn't have any nightmares.
