A ripple of light spread across the clouds. Then the moon itself began to glow brighter. Brighter. Until its pale light deepened into something extraordinary. Silver. Gasps erupted from the crowd. “The moon!” “It’s changing!” Above the Moon Shadow Pack, the full moon burned with brilliant silver light, illuminating the entire clearing in a radiant glow. Silver’s power surged in response. Her hair shimmered like liquid moonlight. Her aura expanded outward in a wave of ancient Luna energy. Wolves stepped back instinctively. Some in fear.

The black hair on the walls began to retreat, sizzling as if hit by acid. "The light," Elodie gasped. She looked at the viewport. A sliver of pure, blinding white light was cutting through the amber shell. It wasn't sunlight. It was cold. Piercing. The White Moon had risen. "Victor, the Moon!" The charred ghost shrieked. It wasn't a human sound. It was the sound of a forest fire being extinguished by a flood. It began to dissolve into gray flakes of ash, swirling toward the air vents.

The sight that befell Cilyna and Kaynon as they reached the side of the mountain had Cilyna staring in astonishment. An older woman with hip length silver hair sat cross legged in the center of a salt circle. There was no wind blowing through the trees, yet her hair was flowing all around her as if she had stuck her finger in a light socket though gently swaying to her soft siren chant. The setting sun was her spotlight and the small dust like particles floating in the air looked like glitter. The scene had a Disney magic feel to it.

Right now I didn’t even care that all the lights in the house were on. It was a thirty minute drive to Theodore’s. The ride was slow and quiet. We were all lost in our thoughts. The dull sound of the tires on the tarmac and the smooth rev of the engine were the only sound that dominated the car through out the entire ride. In a distance, the mansion that hosted most members of the coven appeared. It was a magnificent view and no matter how upset I was I had to appreciate the view. all the lights in the mansion were turned on. I guess they stayed up for me. I feel so special. Not.

Jessica spit outthe words and the moonlight around her condensed into a whirlpool that spread out. The bloody face was instantly torn apart and swallowed by the expanding whirlpool. There seemed to be thousands of thunder and lightning exploding in the whirlpool. However, as the moonlight shone on the blood, it immediately dissipated, as if it had never appeared. Suddenly, there was a crash in the depths of the void.

According to her, it was a sign that the Moon mother favored Megan and her cubs. The labor was difficult and long. It took Megan three days to push out the cubs and in those three days, KuLaa, through her magic, made sure the Moon never stopped shining and when the cubs arrived, she made sure the sun didn't set for another seven days. She made mother and babies stay up in the sun, rain, and Moon for seven good days before allowing them to retire back to their room. On those seven days, several rituals were made, and the cubs were named. The male was called Amoux and the female was named Ainar.

And there, emerging from the brilliant light, stood a figure we had not expected to see. It was Luna, the enigmatic witch of the Silverwood, her eyes gleaming with ancient knowledge and power. She held out her hands, a barrier of energy forming between us and the nightmarish entity. "Luna," I whispered, relief flooding my voice. "What are you doing here?" Luna smiled, her voice carrying a note of urgency. "There is more at stake than you realize," she said cryptically. "The true path lies not in confrontation, but in understanding. Conquer your fears, and you shall unlock the key to the Silverwood's salvation."
