I put my copper wire spring into the ink-black oil pigment and pulled the last line of detailed drawing. It was a schematic representation our water-steam system for greenhouses, complemented by precise instructions for sowing tomatoes and onions in ash-containing soils and safe construction of turbulent chicken trunks. What Survived The Burn

What Survived The Burn

The crowd erupted in quiet cheers, whistles, claps, and laughter—joy sweeping through the clearing like sunlight breaking through clouds. I found myself smiling so wide my cheeks ached. Tonight, we remembered. And tonight, we celebrated. We were more than survivors—we were something new. And we were just getting started. *Note from the author* Book two Starts in the next chapter. IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY

IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY

One year later. The garden at Clara's House was in full bloom. Roses my aunt had planted. Lavender Eleanor had started from seed. A tree Clara had helped put in the ground, her small hands patting down the dirt while Adam held the trunk straight. I stood at the edge of it all, a cup of tea in my hands, watching the women gather. Survivors. Every one of them. Women who'd lost everything and found their way here. Women who were learning to stand again.

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Even the cooks, glancing at their recipe notes on their tablets, simplified menus to jasmine rice, soft poached eggs, steamed vegetables — never seasoned beyond a pinch of salt. But Eva wasn’t cold. She was adjusting. She liked the garden best. It was where the chaos of rebirth felt least strange, where she could remember her old world without mourning it too deeply. The Lioré estate’s garden sprawled like a tamed forest: rose arches, lily ponds, tiny fountains bubbling like secrets, and Wi - Fi signals trickling to discreet cameras that tracked her steps without disturbing her. Butterflies made regular appearances. Occasionally, a fox wandered near the hedges, and the bird feeder livestream

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

"I was able to match 87% of the plants that you gave me to the archives." "Hmm, not bad. Go back and double-check again tomorrow. Use different books as a cross-reference. Note different descriptions." Ren passed a small bag over to reward him for his work. Just a few seeds to plant and play with. The boy's curiosity was the best quality about him to Ren. "Do not take up to much room in the garden. Both you and Two share the same plot."

The Apocalypse Survival Manual

The Apocalypse Survival Manual(Three Days Before Doomsday, I Stockpiled Billions)

Soon, even basic survival needs probably wouldn't be guaranteed anymore. For Nicole, that also meant opportunity. Zeph glanced at her thoughtfully. "You're suggesting we sell water?" "Potatoes, too." Nicole still hadn't unloaded the last batch of cold-resistant potatoes, and the black soil garden had produced plenty more. One way or another, survivors would always need something she had. Zeph didn't object, though caution still mattered. Plenty of people survived by robbing others now. Nicole figured she would test the waters first and decide later.

I am thrilled with the amount of detail both technical and knowledge of survival skills that this book has and I am loving the humor of making mink coats for dogs and bunnies. I highly recommend this book.
