After calming their breaths, they both fell into deep sleep. Jasper tossed and turned in his sleep, plagued by nightmares that seemed too real, too vivid. One particular dream stood out. He was in a cozy, intimate room, with soft lighting. In the dream, Luna was with him, her soft voice telling him everything would be okay. He could hear the sound of her laughter, her familiar presence that had once been a source of comfort to him.

DANIELLE'S P.O.V I stirred from my slumber, my eyes blinking open reluctantly. The room was bathed in the soft glow of dawn and a lingering sense of unease clung to me. As consciousness found its way back to me, I felt the sting in my eyes which were heavy from a restless night. My eyes stung as I tried to focus on the familiar surroundings. A few remnants of the nightmares that had plagued my sleep replayed in my mind, their vivid images taunting me.

Daniela’s POV I was sure I was going to wake up before Kathy did, because one: I didn’t sleep long in new environments. And two: a nightmare would definitely wake me up hours before I would like to be up. But that didn’t happen. When I opened my eyes, the room was very bright. Either Kathy’s bedroom curtains were very light or I had slept hours deep into the day. The latter didn’t feel real. Another thing, Kathy wasn’t on the bed.

A week later, I was at work when my phone alerted me that someone had entered my room. Even though Damian and I were supposedly engaged, we had always slept in separate rooms. He never went into mine. So, I opened the camera feed. On the screen, I saw Talia walk into my room like she owned the place and started digging through my closet. A moment later, she pulled out the silk nightgown I'd treasured for years and never once worn. Then, she shamelessly changed into it right there on the spot and stood in front of the mirror admiring herself.
