Six months later: Every morning I wake up, I stare through the skylight at the trees overhead. I watch them sway with the wind. The seasons have changed while I have been here. The leaves were plentiful and green. I have watched them change from green to brown, to completely gone. I think it is January now and the cold has crept in. The snow has been falling for quite some time. I am sure there is probably a foot. Even if someone knew where I was, I doubt they would be able to find me in this weather. Today is just a day, same as all the rest.

We were all relieved to hear that we no longer have to worry about him, but I'm not letting my guard down for nothing. As for Skye, we had an appointment with her doctor yesterday and she was eligible for the hearing implants. The doctor is supposed to call when they have what's needed for the procedure. She's excited to finally be able to hear and has been trying to speak more. If you've ever watched the show Switched at birth, she sounds like the deaf girl, Daphne when she speaks. She's been getting picked on for it, but she's not letting it bring her down and I'm proud of her for it.

Model without a Cause “Okay, everybody!” Collin boomed at the front of the darkened boardroom. “As you all know, we are going to be advertising Capier's brand new line of cell phone products called Clickmark." A picture of a mauve colored cell phone appeared on the screen along with a list of features.

It is followed by a beep soon after. I tap the notification. A series of messages from my best friend appears on the screen. Mo : *why didn't you pick up?* Mo : *sorry, forgot it's weekend. You're absolutely occupied right now* She adds a winky face at the end. Mo : *I just want to check in. Aaaand, brag* Another winky face. Mo : *Girl, omg I'm soooooo luckyyyyyy* Mo : *look at these! I'm in paradiiiiise*

Wolf glared at me. "No! You promised to go." Wolf argued but Mac cut him off. "Your Mom really wants you to go. In case you know who bothers you." Mac said and Wolf looked at him sharply as I shushed him. "Don't think that I didn't notice that you had to change your number again." Mac added and Wolf nodded. "I knew that was why you changed your number." Wolf called and I sighed. I glared at Mac to shut him up. "Sorry" he said, sheepishly.

She pulled up the acceptance form and hoovered around the check box. "Once I click this, there's no going back." I sat beside her. "You can still change your mind." "No. I can't. This is the only path forward." She checked the box, typed her name in the electronic signature field and paused one more time. Then hit submit. The screen changed: Thank you for accepting your conditional admission to state university. Welcome to the art program. It was done. Sage closed the laptop and sat back. "I did it."

Especially when it feels like there is so much negativity on the internet. If you haven't already, please, review Shift. Give it whatever stars you feel is right. I just does help to have that boost and I really would love people to come in and read your experiences and then be able to know that this isn't just all fluff and fuck. :D There is some but you know. ;) I enjoy a good crying session.

Tires squealed violently against the damp asphalt around the blind corner. A dark Camry came speeding down the narrow street, its headlights illuminating Tim standing dead center in the lane.

Maybe if I ate something, she would settle down a bit. After filling a plate with food, I walked back into the living room and reoccupied my chair. There seemed to be a heated debate about which reindeer was the best. Kaileeh said it was Rudolph, hands down, while Mina was convinced it was Vixen, and Xander was more than positive it was Cupid. Leave it to those three to argue about something like that. “His nose glows red!” Kaileeh exclaimed. “There is nothing cooler than that.”
