I stated rolling my eyes. “Do you really think I’m joking?” he asked in disbelief. “Well, of course you’re not!” I retorted sarcastically and shrugged. “You’re in trouble, human.” he said taking some steps forward towards me. “Excuse me? What? What’re you trying to do?” I asked a little taken aback. “You should’ve known better.” he said. “Nonsense, so you can bluff whatever and I can’t share my opinions here? That’s not fair!” I exclaimed.

He was calm and unbothered like it was nothing. Maybe... I was overthinking. Maybe I said something out loud. "...But I heard you say reborn," I insisted, unsure. "Are you sure you're not hearing my thoughts?" His gaze hardened slightly. "I said no." "Don't let fear make you foolish. I was talking about the Replay of that game. Will you participate? Remember you died in the game because your wolf Lena became weak." My shoulders slowly relaxed. Right! That made sense. There was no way... I exhaled softly.

I thought Dad was finally going to grieve for me. I thought he would rush over and hold me tight. Excited, I drifted to his side, wanting to nuzzle his arm like a kitten. But what happened next plunged me right back into an icy abyss. After taking a deep breath, Dad screamed at my corpse with all his might, "You little brat! What kind of sick game are you playing up there? Get down here right now!" My body just swayed gently in the freezing wind, unable to respond.
