The Blood Moon Rises Once Again Botw Novels & Stories

There were too many. “Stay close!” Jason barked, blocking a blow meant for me. The force of it rattled through him, and through me too, as though the bond between us tied our nerves together. I wanted to obey, but fear clawed at my chest. The forest pressed in on all sides, suffocating, and for one wild heartbeat, I thought I saw something else moving beyond the attackers. Watching. Waiting. My breath caught. Not human. Not even close. The moon shifted overhead, slipping from behind a cloud, and for an instant, silver light illuminated the clearing. And then I saw it.

His tall figure cut through the air like a blade, and his voice carried easily as he grabbed the mic. “We all know this is what you came for,” Jayson said, smirking slightly. His eyes swept across the crowd like he was already picking out winners and losers. “Tonight’s game is simple: one Alpha, one skilled hunter, and one… let's just say, underdog.” There were a few scattered laughs and a lot of tense silence. I couldn’t tell if Jayson was trying to be clever or if there was something else behind his words. “The moon above us tonight is no ordinary moon,” he went on, his tone darker now. “It’s the Blood Moon. And under its light, the forest changes. The shadows twist. And the prey... is unl

“The Moon Child sleeps while the shadows lengthen and the time passes. When the blood moon returns to the high sky, her eyes will turn silver and the ruin will begin with a strong force. Her magic will be whole on that night and destiny will be set in stone.” I reached the last line and stopped. I stared at the carved symbols. I had always thought this line meant a far future time when signs were right. I missed the precise detail before because I focused on destruction and the mating bond. The final line was not a guess. It was a clear date quickly approaching. “The blood moon shall rise again one moon cycle from the marking.” I checked my calendar scroll on the desk. The Moon Mark appeared

“I can feel it. It’s calling me. The Moon wants me to finish what my bloodline began.” “What does that mean?” She met his gaze, fear flickering beneath the defiance. “It means it wants me to merge with it. To become the vessel it’s been waiting for.” Zevran’s hand tightened on his sword. “Then it’s not getting you.” A faint, bitter smile touched her lips. “You can’t fight the Moon, Zevran.” “Watch me.” Before she could answer, the ground shuddered. The air split with a sound like cracking glass. From the center of the courtyard, a pillar of crimson light burst upward, and the shadow within it began to take form — massive, skeletal, wearing a thousand faces of despair.

The morning light hit them at the same angle, and even before he moved, the pieces seemed to lean toward each other like two things that remembered they belonged as one. “The Blood Moon Crystal wasn’t made,” Zephyr said, his voice dropping into that deeper, more serious tone he used when something truly mattered. “It wasn’t forged or crafted or conjured. It grew. Over centuries, deep in the rock beneath the oldest forest on this continent, fed by the energy of every wolf that ever ran above it.” He slowly brought his hands together. “It was whole once. And it’s been waiting to be whole again.” The second the two pieces touched, the light came.

"And I will never be yours." Ronan’s smile widened, revealing teeth that were already beginning to sharpen. "That’s the fire. I can smell it. It’s delicious. You think you’re fighting for Zayden, but you’re just stoking the flames for me." He stood up and walked to the wall, pulling a heavy lever. A grinding sound of stone on stone echoed through the chamber, and the ceiling began to retract. Above us, the sky was no longer grey. It was a bruised, terrifying shade of violet, and the moon—the Blood Moon—was rising, a massive, crimson eye staring down at us.

Before he could react, her hand wrapped around his and a playful smile played on her face. “Thank you.” She said to him as she glanced at him with a smile on her face before staring ahead. “My pleasure,” Carl responded and his eyes darkened dangerously. … It was dark and the only sound that could be heard was that of the crickets and the rustling leaves that moved thanks to the wind. The atmosphere was quiet and it felt like the world had gone into eternal slumber as not even the sound of a human or animal could be heard. One would wonder if the grim reaper was passing by with his scythe, looking for a soul to harvest. The moon shone brightly, casting its bright light upon the deep darkness.

He said, something that I already knew, and I smiled at him. "Is that all?" I asked, and he nodded. "That is all on your weaknesses," He said, and I sighed, but he looked worried, and I had to ask him why. "We are fighting with witches, and witches can cause the blood moon to appear. The only divine wolf that is powerful during a blood moon is Haimon," he said, and I understood his fear. The goddess had sent the wrong wolf for the job. "You need to hide or burn the books, Luna, so it does not fall into the wrong hands," he said, and I nodded.

As most of her werewolf companions saw her as. "Shadow hunters!" She began. She was speaking to the werewolves she had trained whose jobs were to track down the enemies. "We all witnessed what happened with the moon today. We all saw that the full moon did not stand even though it was meant to. We all heard the Oracle say that it would rise in a few days to come" " But hunters, we heard too how the guardian of the pack had said he saw Vampires in the forest"

The Omen of the Blood Moon The night atmosphere felt denser than normal—laden with a weight that pressed against the skin like a warning signal. The Blood Moon, still ascending to its fullest position, shone a fiery crimson above the treetops, casting an eerie red glow across the entire forest. Each wolf was aware that the Blood Moon heightened instincts, fury, fate… and peril. But this night, something different thrummed beneath it—an ancient force stirring awake. Aria was the first to sense it.
