Isabelle stood by the window, watching the world outside as she struggled with the thoughts swirling in her mind. The calm of the morning didn’t match the chaos in her heart. Andrew was still processing everything from the night before, and though he had promised they would face it together, Isabelle couldn’t help but feel the weight of the situation settle over her.
