Elizabeth: The Great Reckoning

Elizabeth: The Great Reckoning

She didn't bother with preliminary greetings, the girl was too pedestrian for small talk. "Riley, second edition, A Brief History of Modern Werewolves," the girl answered as she continued reading. It didn't bother Ellie, she murmured her thanks and they went up the stairs again to find the book. It took a few minutes but Amanda finally pulled it off the shelf with a flourish. "Aha! Found you!" Ellie crouched near Amanda, looking at the book with her friend. She was so engrossed she missed the light chuckle behind her.

Iridian

Iridian

Casey was laying on a four-poster bed, her head hanging over the edge as she breezed through a picture-book. The moment we stepped inside, both stopped what they were doing to look in our direction. “Rachel?” Hailey’s soprano drifted across the room. I didn’t miss the way her eyes brightened, so much like Aidan’s apart from the fact that hers were greener than hazel. Casey turned over and sat up on the bed, those umber eyes of hers staring at me questioningly. “I’ll give you a moment alone.” Dain murmured softly, his hand grazing the small of my back in a reassuring gesture.

Amy
Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

THE WHOLE TRUTH

THE WHOLE TRUTH

I stroked my curls gently, glancing at the clock on the wall to see it was 10:27pm. How time quickly flies.I stared back at the cheque. Jake... what’s your secret?.What’s that secret that you can’t tell me?.Are you scared that I am going to find out? or are you trying to taunt me?I stood up, walking to the window. I stared down at the streets. The lightings illuminating everywhere, making it appear so beautiful.Who are you, Jake?.How are you able to manage a double lifestyle without getting caught?.Why do you know too much about me?.Why are you being nice to me and for what reason?.You claim to know me, yet you aren’t scared of my family’s name. People trembled at my feet at the mention of m

Love Me Softly

Love Me Softly

Rachel's gaze settled on Judith's angry face "But unfortunately, you're not married to Mr Morris Scott —" "Where did you hear that from?" Judith yelled in rage, not caring if anyone heard "Everyone talks about it in this villa. The maids, the chefs. The nannies. Everyone" "And so?" Judith stated, moving closer to Rachel, ready to pounce on her. "What do you mean by 'and so'? You should have thought carefully before getting on my nerves." Rachel glared at her in return, daring Judith to hit her and bear the consequences. "Based on what you said, if there's someone who should have no access to the main library. That should be you, Mrs Judith"

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

“She couldn’t have—” My voice trailed off as I thought about darkness. “Just be careful, Lila.” I looked back up at him and nodded. “I’ll see you later,” I said to him as I turned and left the arena. …. Rachel sat in the back corner of the library at a small table with her history textbook laid out in front of her. She had a notebook to the side of the textbooks with different colored notes sprawled out on the thin paper. She had her fingers dug into her dark hair and I could see that she was incredibly stressed.

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!
Koko
Good book. I wish that Alpha Jonathan paid for his part in Lila’s situation. I feel like the story isn’t complete without that being addressed. Other than that, overall a good book but contains a lot of grammatical and character’s name errors.

Alpha's Mate

Alpha's Mate

Rachel got to the library, entering the right security code and the iris camera, the door flung open as she walked in, slamming the door behind her. Rachel immediately fell to the ground as she gasped for air, she tilted her head, relaxing on the table as she clutched her belly. “Arya cannot hurt my baby… Athena cannot hurt me” Rachel muttered as she stared blankly at the floor, her eyes widening in fear as she bit her lips. “I need to hide” Rachel jerked up, heading to the bookshelves, punching a hidden button, a door opened behind the bookshelves and Rachel ran in as the door closed behind her.

Alpha Kian and His Captive Mate

Alpha Kian and His Captive Mate

The full moon's power combined with the stone's latent energy was making me restless. "Oh yes! Looks like their boring meeting ended early today!" Rachel said and jumped out of the car when she saw her dad coming out with a few others. Alpha Caine's eyes locked onto me as if I was his next task on his to-do list for the day. He was over six feet tall, just like Kian, but with hazel eyes and copper hair. He walked toward me with purpose and told Rachel he needed to talk to me. "Let me grab some fried Oreos before the kids eat them all. I'll be right back," she said. She disappeared into the crowd with her friends while Ren and the wet nurse followed them with Ari.

This is what you call when you two people perfect for each other meet at the wrong time and wrong place. So much love wasted because of revenge and self restraint. He has a point about werewolves winning wars and titles only by bloodshed. It’s the fate that is cruel. Love this story a lot so far!

What an emotional roller coaster for Nyla. Its only a few chapters, but I'm really hooked with the story.. It's such a bummer that her mate is Kian, although I'm starting to like the guy as the story progress. Keep up the good work author!

Rachel's Wolf

Rachel's Wolf

"We also know, that when they issue dire warnings, sometimes they come true. Have you been back to the asylum again?" "No, "Rachel answered, averting her eyes. "I haven't had the time. " Which was a complete lie of course. Now that her work schedule was hardly packed, she spent her evenings watching Brazilian telenovelas on cable. She didn't want to risk running into Galen Munroe and feeling the desire he awakened in her. What she sensed from him that night, was something so rare, so precious, that she almost wanted it to remain in her mind as her fondest memory. A once off meeting had opened her heart, to a man she barely knew.

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

The only one to greet her had been Ruth, and Caitlin, in a daze, had merely walked past her, out the door, to her car, and had taken off, the journal still in hand. Caitlin knew there was only one person in the world she could turn to for answers. And she needed answers now, more than ever. She couldn’t stand to have something unsolved, and she would stop at nothing until she’d figured it out. She sped down the highway, racing down the Taconic Parkway towards New York City, hands still shaking. There was only one man in the world, she knew, who would know what to make of this—only one mind more brilliant than hers when it came to rare books and antiquities. He was the only one who could expl
