"Because they help without playing fair to their enemy. They fight despite a penny possibility of winning." He was looking straight into her eyes and listening to every word she spoke. "Now think twice, do you want to be just a hero or do you want to be the villain's enemy." "What's the difference though, if you help those unfortunate and fooled by those, let's just say bastard, you'll be their enemy, he concluded. She took a piece of bread and tore it into two.

Aathiyan walked out thinking where this is all leading him to. Writing Historical fiction is new to me so I will try to improve. There’s an interesting story coming up and more characters are waiting to be introduced in the next chapters. And the names might be difficult but Aadhiyan is our Hero and Aathiyan is our king. Their first names are the same and you will find a lot of similarities between them too.

She held out the book to Noah, wanting to part with it as soon as possible. Noah gladly took it before he turned to her. “Want to switch?” he said holding out his book. “It’s about a hero fighting to change the world.” Ophelia eyed the book hesitantly, wondering if another fairytale would poke another of her fresh wounds. In the end, she took it. Losing her mind for even a second while reading was a better bargain than leaving it to misery to be consumed. She eyed the hardcover allowing her fingers to trace the embroidered title.

The child shakes his head and Liam rasps out, “He's fine.” Clearly, Greer is to be treated as the villain here. Fine, whatever. She doesn't know why he came after them if he is so angry at her. Then it hits her. He came after the kids. Because he is the hero of the story. He has this incessant need to rescue them, even if he doesn't want to. It is just how he is programmed. He is hardwired to help the damsel in distress, just like any hero in a novel and like a knight in shining armor.

But it was immediately gone and what remained was the stoic expression. Moria sighed not commenting on the remark of the hero. “This is Amon, a monk. Do you remember? I told you there would be someone who will help you.” “Ah, I thought that person would be… older?” The hero said slightly tilting his head to the left. “Are you sure about this goddess? This kid?” He added.

I shout excitedly while practically shoving the book in her face. "Wow, a book on warfare? Now tell me, why do you want to learn about warfare?" She asks gently. "Because I want to become a knight so I can protect everyone I care about. Mother said that knights not only have to be strong, but they must be smart too. So, I'm going to learn everything I can," I cheer loudly. "My, isn't that a wonderful dream. Keep up the good work and you might just make it happen," she says with a tender chuckle.
