Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

“This is the narrowed selection?” The librarian nods at me, giving us both an eager smile. “Thank you,” Roger says, smiling back at her warmly. “I’ll be here if you need me,” the librarian says, gesturing towards the desk at the head of the room. “But please, make yourself at home. Just…” she hesitates, looking between us. “Please no…food or drink…around the books.” “We promise,” Roger says, giving her the most charming smile I’ve ever seen from him. “We’ll protect the books at all costs. No sticky fingers here.” The librarian blushes, then giggles, and scurries away.

I read this entire book I love this series, wonderful writing excellent story I paid for the entire book each chapter. so when I went to read the next book I went back to this book to look up a couple of things and I have to pay for it again. I don't understand I paid for the book.

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

When I was immersed in the novel, time flew by. With the exception of the entrance guard and library guard, no one was left inside the library. We can't forget about the rats. Watching a youngster read a book all day must have been quite dull for them. The thought made me smirk. I could only feel sorry for the men who were lurking in the shadows. They were assigned the mission of uncovering my secrets, but I had been reading books the entire time. How will they report? "Can we borrow or take the books home?"

HIDDEN EDGES

HIDDEN EDGES

They soon notice, and I feel every eyes piercing hot holes in my skin, but I hold my head high, pretending to not see them as we walk, finally turning into the street where the library is. "That was intense." I let out a breath of relief and she scoffs. "It wasn't," she says as we walk through the door and into the library. Jana sits behind the counter with her glasses on and eyes looking at us. "You didn't join the war?" She asks once we get to the counter and Zara shushes her, looking around. "You shouldn't speak so carelessly," she says in a hushed tone and I frown at that. "Why do you leaders always keep the people oblivious?" She asks smiling, but you can't miss the will to spite Zara i

Dating My Ex's Alpha Brother

Dating My Ex's Alpha Brother

I couldn’t wait to finish the novel and then upload it to Zoodago, the sight where I published my works and had so many loyal readers. As I typed, a sharp voice cut through my concentration. "Humans aren't welcome in this section of the library." I looked up to see a stern-faced librarian glaring down at me. She had on round black glasses and a plastic-looking hairdo pulled back so tightly, I could see the strain around the edges of her face. Her eyes were cold and completely filled with disdain. "Excuse me?" I stammered, taken aback by her hostility. "You heard me," she snapped. "This area is reserved for special students. Not humans."

IN BED WITH THE RUTHLESS HOCKEY CAPTAIN

IN BED WITH THE RUTHLESS HOCKEY CAPTAIN

I say nothing for a brief moment, then I take in a deep breath and then ask the most burning question of all. “Do you know Carlos Martinez and Jayden Logan, ma’am? Were they involved?" She hesitates. "I honestly don't know,” sha answers. “I wasn't part of the clubs. But I remember people talking." "What were they saying?" She sighs again. "That something happened." "What?" "I don't know. No one ever told me." She gives me a sad smile. "Old librarians hear many things. But sometimes..." She gently taps the table. "...people become quiet all at once. And that's when you know something serious has happened."

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

He thought about the librarian's eleven years as the practice's most patient preceding correspondence — the watching that had accumulated across eleven years before Thomas wrote the letter, the observation held for all those years waiting for the correct correspondent to receive it. He wrote in the pocket notebook at four o'clock: the three who stay. The faithful attending in the wrong condition. The honest room protects the faithful attending people. Thomas watching eleven years. The city library's most complete correspondent is the librarian who has watched the struggling without being able to name it until now. He was glad. End of Chapter Two Hundred and Ninety-One

Traded to the Ruthless Alpha

Traded to the Ruthless Alpha

I remark, smiling despite myself, “And you didn’t believe me when I told you that it wasn’t a real horse when you tried climbing it.” “Could you make it faster?” he asks, making me smile. But the confidence in his voice hurts in a strange way, not because he expects something from me, it’s because he still believes in me. I look around the library and notice small things that I had missed: the librarian at the desk catches my eye and smiles warmly, one of the warriors glances up from the patrol records with amusement before going back to his work. No one moves away from me. No one watches my shadows with fear. I had been so focused on the people who hesitated that I stopped seeing everyone w

Forbidden Flames: A Steamy Collection

Forbidden Flames: A Steamy Collection

Dim overhead lights cast long shadows between the rows, and the air carried that comforting, dusty scent of old paper and leather bindings. Lila Harper had worked the late shift at the circulation desk for three semesters. At 29, she was the youngest full-time librarian on staff, with sharp hazel eyes, shoulder-length chestnut hair often twisted into a loose bun, and a body that her modest cardigans and knee-length skirts couldn’t quite hide. She knew every quiet corner of the building, including which sections offered the most privacy after 9 p.m.
