The Hunter and the Vampire

The Hunter and the Vampire

“Then come with me.” The Faculty of Journalism, English Literature and Language, and Communications held one of the largest libraries of the university. Initially I’d been shocked when Cyrus had told me, pushing open the door and letting me through first, but I supposed that in a way it made sense. There were not only academic textbooks here, but also an entire two floors of fiction.

The Boy Who Died

The Boy Who Died

The more I think about it, the more it sounds like a one-way trip back to the institution. Honestly, I wouldn’t even blame them. I sound crazy. But somewhere in my gut, I know I’m not. I just need to convince everyone else. I squash the voice in the back of my head reminding me I was certain last time too and look for somewhere a little less exposed. The library, converted from the old Anglican church they used to have on campus, looms over the quad. I barely ever go there because I got all my textbooks online, but I know there’s a section in what I think used to be a choir loft that only has one way in and out in addition to a view of the main floor. It’s perfect.

BOYTOYED: 365 Nights With Him

BOYTOYED: 365 Nights With Him

I got a text from Kenji asking if I wanted to grab ramen at a new Japanese restaurant that opened nearby, but before I could reply, a notification from an unknown number popped up. The library. Third floor, North Wing. 5:30 PM. Don't be late, Cinder. My heart skipped a beat. The North Wing was the old section of the library—dimly lit, filled with towering shelves of rare law texts, and usually deserted after hours. I sent a quick lie to Kenji: Got stuck at the lab. Don’t wait up.

Alpha Xavier's Second Chance Mate

Alpha Xavier's Second Chance Mate

Maybe I could learn something from them. Later, Dmitri joined us in for lunch. Even he had time but his Alpha didn't, for his own family. And what? He had the audacity to think we would fall in love after repeating his ridiculous tasks. As if. After lunch, I found the library in the north wing on the second floor. The moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by the scent of old parchment and leather. Rows upon rows of books lined the walls. A treasure trove, it was.

Runaway Alpha

Runaway Alpha

It looks so ordinarily as if there is nothing wrong that is happening He then walked out of his spot and guide me to the direction of the entrance of the exclusive chamber where different kind of books and treasured scrolls are hidden inside that library And what surprised me the most is the mechanism that occur when I stepped on the center of the library, suddenly a glowing light was show before us

Awakening His Lycan Queen

Awakening His Lycan Queen

Boston was scrolling through his phone, not paying attention to me, but heard my mumbled question, “Hmm? Oh! We used to have a librarian that helped keep up with this place, but when she passed, the Alpha didn’t replace her. That was her desk.” “Oh! Can I ask why the Alpha didn’t replace the librarian when you clearly use this space during the school year for all the pups?” “Not sure…I don’t think we have anyone else in the pack that is very experienced in maintaining a library of this caliber to be honest. I could ask the Alpha if you would like?” Boston seemed genuine in offering to help me get an answer to my curiosity. “Oh, nah, that isn’t necessary. I was just curious is all. Thank you

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

Her bright smile eases some of my anxiety about being caught out of my room. "There you are! Ready for your crash course in pack life?" She links her arm through mine, giving me no choice but to follow her toward a massive stone building. "First stop: library. You need to know our history if you're going to be part of our future." The words send an unexpected pang through my chest. Future. Do I dare hope for one here? The library takes my breath away. Three stories of floor-to-ceiling shelves curve around a central sitting area, with ladders that slide along brass rails. The air smells of leather and parchment and secrets.

The Orchestrated Lie

The Orchestrated Lie

Chapter 155 Shania adjusted the stack of books in her arms as she stepped into the cozy library at the foundation’s headquarters. This had quickly become her favorite spot to retreat to, a quiet space where stories lived and dreams flourished. A part of her still marveled at how far things had come. The library was bustling with activity as kids and young adults flipped through pages of novels and textbooks. Shania watched a young girl named Tasha animatedly discuss a book with her peers, her shy demeanor replaced by an infectious enthusiasm.

The Pack's Hybrids

The Pack's Hybrids

There were plush, old-fashioned armchairs set around a small coffee table under the stairs, and oil paintings on the walls as they continued into the house, passing labelled doors. “I’m training for the seminary. It’s part of the routine.” “Seminary,” Logan pulled a face. “I thought this was a high school,” he added. “It is. Why do you ask?” Jonathan wondered. “Junior library, senior library.” “Ah, the junior library is open to all students, the senior library has more… advanced books. There’s another library… But you’ll learn about that later. At the moment, you can use the junior library. It’s got, you know, fiction books and stuff for schoolwork.”

Firefly
If you're looking for a story about an incel that gets their just desserts, this is the book for you! I haven't read a book in this series yet that doesn't deliver an emotional punch in the worst and best ways.
Dawn
That’s the end of the 4th book in the series. Can’t wait for the next book “the rebels”. This has been a fantastic series & though the book spends a lot of time going back & forth into the past & present it allows for those who have not read the whole series so far to keep up. Well done Everleigh xx

The Complex Art of Rosie

The Complex Art of Rosie

Rosie fell back into her usual comfortable routine - keeping up with her school work, spending her evenings at work at the library, and spending any other free time busy with her artwork or just reading. In the middle of the week, the library had an electricity problem and all the power had gone out. While the maintenance was being worked on, the library was closed. Since Rosie would usually study at the library, she instead headed to the student centre on campus. She didn't like going to the student centre because it was always packed with many people and she preferred to be somewhere else, where she was more alone and comfortable. Since her next class was starting shortly, there was no poi
