In the hallways there is a huge bookshelf, absentmindedly I grab a book without even looking at the title. The treehouse sits in the only tree in the yard. I can see Andy's feet hanging over the side of it. The old rope ladder hangs waiting for me. It doesn't take long to climb it. Andy is laying with his head in the center of the floor with his feet hanging over the side. I lay opposite of him, our heads right beside each other, my feet hanging over the other side of the floor. Now for the first time glancing at the book I notice that it is one of the werewolf books my mother likes to read. It feel like ice sliding down my spine. I have read a few of these books.

I looked down. Then I saw it. Her door was open just a crack. Inside, under her bed—barely visible—a thick old book. Red cover. Frayed edges. It glowed for a second. Faint but real. I stood. "Hey," I said, trying to keep my voice calm. "What’s that?" She froze. "What’s what?" "Under your bed. That book." Her head tilted, eyes sharp. Not like before. Not worried. Watching. "Don’t go through my stuff, Selena."

I’ll get to be free. But tonight, I’m just a boy sitting in a cold corner holding a burned book with shaky hands and hoping my mother never comes home. Because monsters don’t always live under your bed. Sometimes, they give birth to you. But, like always, God didn’t hear me. He never does. The sharp, blaring sound of the doorbell echoes through the silence, slicing through the fragile peace like a knife. My body freezes for a second, my breath catching in my throat. She’s back.

James laughed and told Micheal not to try it because, Monster is a vampire and he might killed Michael if he found out that zombies resist Micheal's blood, that will be the worst part because he want the world to continue like this. "Damn it, Shanks, stop!" My legs carried me down the corridor past the office area and down the stairs. I didn't know exactly where I was going, but I knew if I didn't move I would just burst. The monsters that killed my parents ... they were still alive! How could fate do this to me? Why were these beasts allowed to breathe while the people who gave me my life lay underground and slowly crumbled to dust? It was … My foot slipped on the bottom step of the stairs. I bent over and didn't fall because I quickly grabbed the banister.

But my grandfather sent me again to another school named 'HARRISON UNIVERSITY' A typical but high-end school congested with bitches, nerds, lovers, jerks, bullies, and the pathetic ones who love to see themselves bullied. Not until I started to see bizarre things, I never wish to involve with. 'Monsters'—that's what Harrison University has. From that day on, I learn that all things happening inside this campus are bound to each other. Too late for me to realize that these will lead me to the place where I can find the identity that I myself don't want to bring back.

Half of the book was hidden under the bed. On the front, it read nothing. It was just a plain, faded pink, thick covered book or so it appeared to be until I started flipping through the pages.
