She nods as she follows Raven. I watch her back disappears into the darkness. I turn to Dathan. "You can leave now."

I watch the door open, Bear, Hawk and Doc walking in and sitting. “Take a look.” I watch as Grayson holds out the box and envelope. Why is he showing them? I stare at him. “Raven’s past is coming back, it’s someone who likes to kill those she is close to. So we’re calling in everyone, if we’re not with her, we need at least three more guys watching her closely.” “You said those she is close to?” Doc looks at us and we nod. “Yes, that includes Ava, so if we’re not going to be with Ava, we need more people around her.” I won’t let Grayson pretend like Ava isn’t a target.

"Don't play dumb with me, Raven. I know you were at Damien's territory. I know you had a meeting with him. And now he's dead. I did send you to him, remember?” Raven looked up, her gaze matching mine. "I did not kill him, Alpha Fenrir. I swear it." I took a step closer, my voice dropping to a low menacing growl. "You expect me to believe that? You, were the last person to meet with him…and all of a sudden he is dead. Common Raven make this easy for the both of us.” Raven's face lost its color, but she stood her ground. "I didn't kill him, Alpha. I'm telling the truth. How can a weakling like me kill an alpha like Damien?”

I whimper, and rush to Raven’s side, placing my hand over her stomach and the other over her chest to make sure her heartbeat is steady. “I tried Pentu, I really tried, the poison was designed to hurt her pup,” Mummo sobs, placing her hands over mine making the healing light even brighter. I look up to see Clover standing by Raven’s head, sobbing and shaking her head, when I feel Mummo is right, Raven lost her pup and nothing we do would change it.

I blush while looking over at Raven who approaches me with a few books in hand. “What did you find?” I question while holding up a pair of shorts checking if they will fit. I smiled when I see Rebecca grabbing tank tops in colors, she knows I love. “I found a couple pregnancy books that look good, and I found this one of Viking stories it reminds me of Vaari,” Raven answers while showing me the books and I smile remembering Mummo Adaline and Vaari Jyrki always reading us stories. “They look good, thank you,” I smile while grabbing the story book and open it seeing that it looks like Mummo’s book or at least the illustrations do.
