The Secret Library Books Novels & Stories

I said. "Well we are the only Library in the world with books older than time itself, I can help you find it." She said. "It's called the book of secrets, apparently Da Vinci wrote it." I said. I had to lie. I couldn't exactly tell her what I was really looking for. "Ah the book with the alleged secrets about the fountain of youth? Well you are not the first one to look for that book. I will look in the archives if it's there and I'll give you a call." She said with a smile.

Those were good times. Pushing open the library door, I was enveloped by the familiar scents of paper and ink. The sleek, modern shelves, packed with books of every genre, rose majestically to the ceiling, creating a sea of literary treasures. Every book had been handpicked by me, each one a reflection of my eclectic tastes. I navigated the narrow aisles, my fingers trailing over the spines of the books until they paused in front of a shelf filled with classic novels. With a practiced motion, I pulled a row of books off a shelf, revealing a small, discreet panel. I pressed my thumb against the cool surface, and the panel slid open with a soft click releasing a whisper of secrets.

The secret library Aegon talked about was supposed to be in the hallway beside Lucian's chamber but after walking around for almost an hour, I still couldn't find it. “Ten steps after Lucian's chamber,” I whispered, remembering Aegon's words. And just like he said, my eyes caught a door that was hiding behind a flower vase, exactly the way he described it. In a split second, I rushed towards it, using the keys with me to unbolt the door before going in. Immediately I entered, pitch darkness followed. Dust filled the air, blocking my nostrils. The room was crowded with different shelves stacked with worn out books and scrolls.

I also sought answers since I was becoming more concerned about Veyron and Darius's involvement in my demise. The gold-embossed titles of leather-bound books faded with time as my fingertips traced along their spines. Selena's silent but urgent call for prudence blended with Lucas's cryptic warnings about treachery in my head. So far, none of it made sense. I was determined to put it all together, however. --- Tucked down in the library's furthest corner was the section I was looking for. It was identified as the Lunaris Chronicles by faded labeling. These shelves were loaded with tales of the Moon Goddess, long-forgotten festivals, and ancient rituals.

This was my haven, a secret space where no one could find me—away from everything, from the pressures of my role, from the expectations that weighed on me. In my hands, I held the book I had stolen from the secret library. It was bound in dark leather, and its pages crackled with age. I had barely managed to slip it from its hidden resting place without anyone noticing, and now I was finally going to read it. The title was unassuming, but the stories it held, the knowledge it promised, stirred something deep within me.

Brows faintly furrowed. One hand tightly clasping hers. The location tag wasn’t our bedroom. It was the private safehouse. The one place he once told me only I was allowed to enter. The place built for protection. For trust. Further down. My new house! He said it’s mine alone—a castle, just for me. The image showed a hillside villa overlooking the coast. White stone. High gates. Private security. A place I’d once admired casually— and been told it was “reserved for family use.”

" Gabriella asked herself. She couldn't stop herself from throwing quick glances at him every time. Later on, a girl dressed in a fiery red dress split above the knee stood beside him. The lady whispered something to him and walked away.Tony stood up a moment later and strolled towards the direction the lady had followed. Gabriella felt compelled to follow him. Tony led her to a deserted place at the back of the building. He abruptly turned towards her direction, hiding in a corner but her shoes were still visible. "Come out. I know you're there" Tony half yelled at her.

Flipping it over in his hands several times before handing it to us with a deep sigh. Nina takes the picture and she stares at it, assessing the image. I watch through her eyes, pressing against the veil to get closer. The image was from several months ago, I remember Byron posting it on Mybook. It was a picture of me in my room but someone had zoomed in on the bookshelf behind me. Circled in red pen was a crystal wolf figurine on top of a box. It was coming back to me now. The random gift was missing. “The wolf box. That’s what’s missing.”

I took a deep breath, and quickly and quietly crept down the hall in the opposite direction. ~SANDINO~ Sandino had his back pressed up against the wall as he quietly made his way down the hall. He heard crying. It was echoing through out the halls, and it took him a minute to pin point it. It was in the library. He crept inside, hearing the cries turn into gasping. There was someone lying on their back behind one of the many tall bookshelves. It was a teacher. Sandino rushed over to her side, as she lay sprawled out on the carpet.

I loosened my tie and walked toward my study. I had barely sat down when there was a knock on the door. “Come in.” My assistant stepped inside with a folder in his hand. “Sir, there are a few documents that need your attention.” “Leave them on the desk.” He placed the folder down. Then he hesitated. “There is one more thing.” I looked up. “What?” He pulled another envelope from his briefcase. “This came from the lawyer.” I reached for it. The moment I saw the name on the envelope, my fingers stopped.
