I listened to the sounds of movement, of a door opening and closing, of footsteps retreating down the private corridor. Then nothing. I stood perfectly still behind the drapes, the book pressed against my chest, my heart slamming so hard I was certain it was audible. Silence stretched. Five seconds. Ten. “You can come out.”

Thorne asked, looking up from his files. Silas never broke eye contact with me. A slow, terrifying, psychopathic smile spread across his face as he felt the silver burning through his muscles, his blood soaking the carpet floor. "Not at all, Dad," Silas whispered, his voice raspy as he leaned closer to me, his golden eyes burning into my soul while he bled out in silence. "Everything is just fucking perfect."

A silence lingered in the air, the only sounds came from the sloshing of the water every time I shifted and the soft whimpers escaping my mouth. "Can you talk to me?" I asked. "As a distraction?" He looked taken back, but slowly nodded his head. "Alright," he agreed. "What would you like to hear?" "Tell me your story," I answered quietly, closing my eyes once more and controlling my breathing in an attempt to calm my body down. "I want to learn about my future brother-in-law." The last sentence made a small chuckle leave his mouth along with an eye roll, which made a weak smile form on my face.

Chapter 24 – Guilty Third persons pov He couldn't take it anymore cursing under his breath he got up from his bed and walk towards where he left haya, he unlocked the suite and entered in, he was welcomed by the silence, suddenly a fear ran down his spine and shivered thinking of all the unwanted things which could have happened, getting rid of it, he walked towards the room and found his wife lying on the cold floor unconscious.

I blinked, shaking my head clear. "Excuse me..." Silence. As I instinctively reached out to shake her awake, she sits up abruptly instead, the cap still on her head; a waterfall of raven black curls falling along her back. Closing the book, she got off the desk and moved to the window. Silence. Wh-What was that? "Good morning, I wasn't expecting there to be anyone here at this hour..." Silence, "I guess you're one of my students. I'm..." "I know who you are Fairchild Sensei." Her soft yet hoarse voice seemed to echo in the quiet room. The slight unrecognizable accent played with my ears ever so slightly and I was rendered speechless... Is that all?

There was nothing more overwhelming like hearing her talk, it blew his senses away in a way that was all new. He wasn't sure if he will ever get used to her soft voice or the way she whispered his name with an accent thinker than anyone's in the house. "Nice to see you all fine Ana " Davin spoke up while walking out of the room with the others. "Thank you " she whispered, now facing Marco being left alone with him felt comfortable but also made her suddenly shy.

Lauren rebutted, confidently. "Are you sure about that? Listen to this." At first, Lauren heard nothing but the noise from the party. Just when she was about to sneer, she heard Malcolm's voice. His voice wasn't loud but the entire hall was pin silent so she could hear everything he said. She listened for a few minutes before her mouth opened in shock. She was so D. O. O. M. E. D!
