I asked, deliberately making my voice tremble with disbelief. Zachary dropped all pretense, his tone filled with a victor's gloating. "What do I mean? Well, Summer had my kid just to keep you around as her personal ATM! You spend months at a time stuck down in the deep sea. Of course, Summer gets lonely! Penelope, as I read on her badge, said. She had pretty hazel eyes, and I could swear her natural hair was brunette. Her teeth seemed artificial, too, and from her statement, I could tell she had difficulty pronouncing some words. Summer waved the book she had snatched from me and said. "She's not anything like us and will never be. She belongs to the trash." I scowled and yanked the book out of her hand. "I'll be waiting for you in the car if you'll excuse me," I gave her a tight-lipped smile and walked away.

"I knew the principal summoning our terrorizer to his office was a good sign. " Joe said stealing a glance at the piece of paper. Unconsciously, my face beamed with a magnificent smile. Maybe school wasn't that horrible after all. I'd never gone out with any girl and the first time I do, it's with Salene? I crinkled the piece of paper neatly and tucked it into my back pocket. Strolling down the hallway today felt so good, so liberating. Was this all I've been missing out of? Was I becoming important now? Rest all family members were waiting for them to confess their feelings and propose to each other, but none of them initiate. After many days, there was a hustle-bustle in the Walter palace. I only knew who they were by scent because I didn’t bother to look in their direction. That doesn’t stop me either though as I put my claws at his stomach and slowly dig in, “Maybe you’re the one who should watch the way you talk to a Turned wolf,” my claws slip deeper and deeper but he doesn’t so much as flex his abs. “Especially when you have no information on them,” he still doesn’t move an inch the whole time as I retract my claws and scape upwards a bit. I didn’t go too deep, he’ll heal in seconds from what I’ve learned from Star.

Summer was attempting to kill herself. Luckily, Summer still stepped on the brake and slowed down the car speed at the end. Otherwise, Adrian would have left this beautiful world just now. “The Summer I know is not a bunny, but a young fox who drinks blood.” James frowned and said, “My family members attempted to kill me once. My body was covered in blood, and I almost died. Usually, most people will be afraid, especially people like Ms. Summer, but she was not afraid when she saw me. Patrick replied. After dinner they took a walk on the beach. The sky was dark, there were very few stars in the sky and no moon. Summer broke down and cried in her father's arms and he comforted her. Little doodles of flowers in the margins. I felt my lip curl. “Wow. You actually understood all this?” I flipped to a random page and read aloud in a mocking tone. “‘Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?’ Cute. You know that’s about someone hot, right? Not whatever sad little fantasy you’ve got going on in here.”

**** J U N E I don’t know how it happens. One day, I’m still struggling to stay afloat, the pressure easing a little with each week that passes. The next I woke up determined to start living again. I hate that it took me six months to work through this, but every time I felt like the ground might be steadying under my feet, something would happen. So I keep my head down and focus entirely on work until the end of the school year. And then summer vacation starts and I feel… Okay. Better than okay. Almost like myself again.

Matt says, "I'll tidy up a few loose ends. See you soon, Sis." As soon as Matt hangs up the phone I run out the door.
