“Slitting your throat would be too easy tonight” I opened my eyes and noticed she and my dad had shifted back to their human form. My heart was beating so fast as her statement gave me no room for comfort. She bent over and looked at me. “You're going to need a bit of beating”. She said and looked at my dad whose face was as cold as ice. My life has always followed a Cinderella pattern. The only difference was I didn't need a step family and there was definitely no prince coming to save me. Raven held me by my hair and dragged me back to the house. I pleaded in pain but as usual, what could a weak werewolf like me do?
