The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

And no one knew what deeper secrets the village might be hiding. The Special Missions Unit had no clear route and couldn't just wander around the village aimlessly. If they did, they'd be easy targets. "Oh, we're here to camp. We read online that you can see the stars clearly from around here." It was true. The village, perched on higher ground, did offer a good view of the night sky. The villager frowned and waved his hands. "This is my home. You can't just camp here whenever you like."

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

The Last White Wolf & Her Chosen Kings

The Last White Wolf & Her Chosen Kings

“Auren, Draken, Riven, Kael...you’re with me. We make sure this village is secure, then we check the third.” Varien’s voice rumbled in my skull, pride mixing with possessiveness. "Our mate is terrifying." I didn’t disagree. __________________ Dee POV The moment we stepped through the ward line, I knew. This village was barely hanging on. The houses were small and weathered, some leaning like they’d give up with the next hard wind. The scent of hunger was everywhere, thin, brittle and hollow. Children peeked from behind doorframes, eyes too big for their gaunt faces, clothes hanging off them in faded rags.

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

As they emerged from the portal's shimmering gateway, Kai was awestruck by the sight that unfolded before him. The villages, nestled amidst a dense forest, exuded an aura of tranquillity and ancient power. Werewolf warriors, their forms lean and muscular, moved with an air of grace and purpose, their every movement hinting at their formidable strength. The air crackled with an unspoken energy, a palpable testament to the village's rich heritage and potent lineage.

Rejecting the Alpha King

Rejecting the Alpha King

She moved with the grace of a predator, her eyes scanning the horizon as the faint glow of the village lights came into view. The village was peaceful, the faint sound of footsteps and conversations drifting through the air. The people there had no idea that death was approaching them. They were still holding on to the belief that Maxton would come for them, that he had not abandoned them. And they were wrong. However, death seemed to have found them first before their savior.

How to Make the Ice Prince Fall

How to Make the Ice Prince Fall

But better their food than their lives. From where he stood, Nathaniel could see all the way to the village on the edge of the forest. It was an unusual view without the hustle and bustle of the villagers. Just the houses, the muddy streets, and one or two hens picking on the ground. They would run as soon as they noticed something strange, and even if not, it wasn't his problem. The villagers should have brought with them what they needed and the things that were left behind... could possibly be destroyed.

Charm of a Cold Bodyguard

Charm of a Cold Bodyguard

Farmhouses that still look traditional with thatched roofs and wooden fences adorn the scenery, accompanied by a large yard overgrown with trees that give a peaceful and cool impression. The cobbled streets that cut through the village are an attraction in themselves, giving it a quaint and alluring feel that blends in with the naturalness of the village. Richie carefully drives the car, exploring every corner of the enchanting village. "Sieseby Village!" shrieked Sharlynn excitedly once the village appeared. Sharlynn's eyes were full of admiration, as if she couldn't believe Richie had brought her to a cozy place like this traditional village. "Why didn't I think of that earlier?" muttered

The Rejected Luna's Second Chance

The Rejected Luna's Second Chance

I start to slow down, allowing a bit more distance between us. Damian stops, waiting for me to catch up. “You look pale.” “I’m fine.” “You’ve been saying that all day.” I brush past him, pushing forward. “It’s just a long journey. I’m tired. That’s all.” He gently catches my arm. “Selena.” I pull my arm away. “I said I’m fine.” He lets me go, but I can feel his eyes on me. --- The village appears as dusk settles in—a few stone huts, smoke drifting from chimneys, and a garden tucked against the mountain. An old woman waits at the gate, her hair white, hands folded, with sharp eyes that seem to assess me.

Alpha Thomas

Hera pictured him effortlessly charming in that outfit, but the thought made her stop laughing as she caught his vibe. He switched topics, keeping her engaged with tips on riding until they reached the village's edge. Hera was in awe of the view. The village looked like something straight out of a storybook, with thatched roofs atop simple structures dotting the landscape. Smoke from cooking fires wafted up from pits both inside and outside the homes. Kids played freely alongside dogs and the occasional chicken. As they got closer, people paused to watch them, greeting them with waves and the occasional bow. Hera spotted a few mules tied up or hitched to carts and asked, “Where are all the h

Little Sister

Little Sister

On both sides of the road, featureless snowfields stretched as far as the eye could see. “What’s the name of this village, brother?” Andrei asked. The Patrolman spat makhorka-brown spittle. “Little Wells,” he answered. So, this was a village? Svetlana wrinkled her nose. Everybody knew that villages contributed to the defense of Motherland by feeding the cities where the sacred work of manufacturing weapons of Light was being carried on. But Svetlana was a city girl and had no precise image of the countryside beyond the golden sheaves of corn on the cover of her textbook. What she was seeing bore little resemblance to the picture.

THE GAMMA'S DAUGHTER

THE GAMMA'S DAUGHTER

"We’re in this together." Her eyes flicked to mine, a quiet understanding passing between us. But before she could respond, the village came into view. The houses were small, their roofs thatched and crooked, and the dirt road we were following led straight into the heart of it. I could feel the eyes of the villagers on us as we passed, their gazes lingering just a little too long, their whispers following us like a shadow. I didn’t care.
