Everything about this colossal man screamed intimidating and powerful. “Hello” he spoke, his voice like smooth silk, deep yet friendly. “I’m Tobias, eldest son of Alonzo Gilliano, Alpha to Blue Moon pack” he was speaking and facing Gunner, yet his eyes didn’t move from me. Gunner stepped forward, his body now blocking me from Tobias.

I wore just a denim mini under my sweatshirt because I would be going back in soon. When the musky scent wafted through the air I turned around to see Tobias approaching. He was dressed in a simple black button-down shirt and matching half pants that made him look less dangerous. His olive skin was so pleasing to look at. Earlier today when he snatched my phone, he just stared at the caller and handed it back to me, he obviously didn’t care. I’m just such a weirdo. “What would you like to eat?” He asked steadily. Oh, this view almost made me forget about food.

Rosie smiles at him and shakes her head, “It’s been so long since I lost him, over a hundred years ago now, it’s still painful some days. But it’s nice to talk about him. Lottie finds it dull now. She knew him too, of course, being my twin sister. But she tires of my talking of him.” Greyson nods and leans into Seb’s shoulder. “Tobias was a beautiful man, a human. He had long, blonde, curly hair and wore those flowy poet shirts and tight trousers. He was a woman’s man.” Greyson smiles, “Ooh, a dreamboat.” Seb smacks him in the arm and he giggles, Rosie nods wistfully,

Tobias huffed and tilted his head. “You are True Mates?” he questioned. “Yes” Gunner said firmly. What is up with him? “We are, yes” I confirmed again, glaring up at Gunner’s hard stare. “Incredible” he exclaimed, “You two are truly remarkable. It is an honour to serve beside you both” he put his hand on his chest and bowed his head. He lifted his eyes and smiled at me through his thick dark lashes. A breath caught in my throat and I pressed back into Gunner's chest. Tobias is seriously handsome. Gunner’s fingertips dug into my hips and I hissed.

She took some cookies and put them in her mouth. “Let’s see how she will play her pity party games” After Avery finished eating some more cookies, she dropped the box on Tobias’ lap and patted his back. Tobias felt his heart tinged. He had been attracted to Avery since he was a kid. Avery was three years younger. All these years, he kept it to himself. Tobias’ uncle was once an employee at Clinton Group. Back then, Tobias used to visit the family with his uncle during the holidays when he was younger.

“I have Tobias planted and I’ve got a plan. I’m hoping it will be a sealed deal very soon.” It was silent on the other end for a few moments, “That’s wonderful. Keep me updated. I look forward to meeting our newest asset soon.” He hung up, leaving me more irritated than I was prior. Abe was a business man, first and foremost, but he also felt as if he had some claim over me personally. The man was married, but he still acted as if he held some sort of ownership over me. Scrolling through my contacts, I find Tobias’ name. I think it’s time I pay his little “mate” a visit. That will give him just the encouragement he needs to finish this.

He heard someone say from behind him. Caleb grew stiff. He slowly turned around, to find a man standing there, naked. His skin was pale, a little too pale for that of a Were, he had a sturdy build to him, but he looked haggard otherwise. The mischievous smirk on his face, unsettled Caleb still. The man looked him over, clearly sizing him up, “How does she taste? Never knew an Alpha would be eating off my sloppy sec…”

Tobias was shocked to find out that her files were under red level security but he pushed that shock away for a while. “ She was working as a sugar baby until a few time ago Sir. She had some connections with Dylan Gray - your friend. ” Mr Walton dropped the bomb on Tobias as he shot up from the sofa with his eyes going wide in another shock. “ WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING?! ” Tobias roared out at Mr Walton as he kept standing straight - unphased by his behaviour. “ There is something that you should know before all of this...” He trailed off dreading what was going to be Tobias's reaction after finding out.

When I heard that word, I immediately choked up for a few moments, reminding me of someone who had bad intentions for me in the past. “Right, is there a problem Miss. Watts?” Mr. Hopkins asked curiously. "No, Sir, I was just wondering who you are referring to?" .I tried to make sure. "Tobias Hakon, he is a new investor who will invest a large enough stake in Dominic's company. I heard that he was also an investor in Noel's company, but because he was disappointed with the company, he withdrew his shares. You should also know it's not Miss. Watts? said Mr. Hopkins.
