However, I couldn't find any logical explanation for my rapid heart rate. I cleared my throat. "So, how was the book?" I quickly switched to a safer subject. His eyes lingered for a few seconds before he slid his gaze to the Harry Potter book on the table. "It was good. I'm currently reading The Order of Phoenix." I nodded. "Are you close to the ending?" Hunter took the book and flipped it open. He flipped through a few pages as if he was trying to find a certain page. "Apparently not." He showed the page to me. "I'm halfway there though."
