That annoying chanting again. It makes my skin crawl. I crane my neck, my heart hammering, just as figures in red robes emerge from the shadows. They're carrying coffins. Two of them. The coffins are carved with symbols that make my stomach drop. The cultists move slowly as if what they're bearing is sacred. Or cursed.

The creature resembled neither a human nor a ghost. The Violet Rain Bird’s expression turned grim, its massive body trembling. “Be careful, Master Adrian. This is a Human Ghoul.” A Human Ghoul was a humanoid monster classified as a type of daemonic beast. Its sharp fangs and black eyes presented a truly frightening sight. As the creature growled, Adrian's gaze turned icy. “You really think you’re something?” He charged at the beast.

James could see a group of unknown monsters densely packed together in the deepest part of the ancient battlefield and could even vaguely hear the monster’s roars. “I was right.” James took a deep breath. He came to the city with speculations, and the sight had proved him right. James asked solemnly, “What are the origins of these monsters?” The middle-aged man replied, “They are from beyond the Endlos. These monsters are being constantly manufactured, and wiping them out is impossible. The mastermind producing them has to be taken out. In the deepest part of the Tribulation World is Tribulation City, which exists to seal off this passage and block out these monsters.”

He sneered. "Now you are acting bossy, huh!" He said while running towards a trainee fighting not too far from him. Nonetheless, he noticed the monster rushing towards him. Yman doesn't know if what was the name of these monsters. Above their head, only the health bar in red color and the numbers inside it were displayed. Above the red health bar, the three question marks could be seen. Since their system deity was from the earth above, the monsters registered on it were limited only from the monsters on earth above or Outerworld. So the monsters in this world were unknown to the system deity.

I'm sitting in a ruined city under a dead grey sky. Flickering billboards buzz overhead: "Mythos Academy...Awakening Recruitment...Angels, Demons, Vampires..." Mythos Academy? I look at the hologram, then at the desolate ruins, and finally at the piece of beef in my chopsticks. "Where the hell am I?" Is this even Earth? I swallow the meat and stand up to scan my surroundings. Desolate. Silent. No humans. This place looks like it's been bombed.
