~AURORA POV~ The army members stepped back while looking out at the size of the monster— he is so tall. "HEY!" Jacob stepped close, and the monster looked at him. What is this creature? "These are the deadly ghouls!" Sophia said, breaking the silence. "Look at their nails; they are so big, and they contain a lot of poison. After they attack anyone, it will be impossible to stay alive." I looked at the army member who was lying there on the ground—he was definitely poisoned because his neck turned blue.

"They’re coordinated. The Russians have provided satellite overwatch. They know exactly where we are." We burst into the hallway. The air was thick with the smell of cordite and blood. I saw the first of the Reapers—men who had been twisted by a raw, unstable version of the Rose. Their skin was grey, their eyes weeping a dark, viscous fluid. They didn't feel pain. I immediately place my hand on top of his to stop him from removing his hand from my face. Suddenly I just want to hold him, to soothe him and comfort him. He just lost his Aurora for a second time now and it's not easy, not even for a demon. I can see the tears shining in his eyes and I'm pretty sure that's exactly how my eyes look right now. I guess even monsters cry too. But looking at him right now I don't see a monster or a demon, I just see a wounded creature which just wants to reunite with the love of it's life.
