This just crept me out to a whole new level that in every step that I would take, I kept on asking the same question over and over to my self. “I won’t initiate a debate with that,” Chuck answered, which to me, felt like he was kind of partially agreeing to what I said. However, he followed it up with another statement again. “Let’s say this place is really similar to those places usually used in horror movies, but please, just please, hoping things here don’t turn out the same way it turned out to those movies, too.” The voice of Chuck quivered last second before he finished his sentence.

I was more amazed by how much she suddenly hated me. ‘Two dead bodies weren’t enough for you huh? Do you also want me to be a statistic huh?’ She was shouting and screaming at me, while overpowering me. I ended up on the floor, Anna pinning me harder and harder down. I thought she was petrified of me, but she looked like she was ready to send me straight to Sharon and Naledi. She put her hands around my neck, making it hard for me to breath or do anything. I was losing strength by the second, Anna wasn’t letting go.

They entered the house one by one through the window. It was pitch black inside. They turned on their flashlights and lighted up the living room which was full of dust and old things. The atmosphere of the house was very spooky, and only their steps broke the silence inside. Luna felt increasingly pressured and she began to feel something unexplained. "I feel like there are a lot of eyes watching us," she said quietly. Max just laughed, "Stop being so dreamy, Luna. Are you pretending to be a Nancy Drew?" Luna snorted in annoyance at Max.

Lyrien feels his muscles stretch and tighten as the ugly words pour out of Rene's lips, and he cannot describe the dark emotions that crawl through his heart, surrounding it and squeezing so tight that it hurts physically. It almost feels like fear. No, that will be a mild word to describe it. Horror. So intense, a black endless abyss of it snatching the wind from his lungs. His uneven breaths match Rene's frantic ones, and with a loud, terrifying howl of curses, he releases Rene. Rene continues to sob loudly long after Lyrien is gone from the tent. What had possessed him to yell at Lyrien like that? Now, he is certain that Soral is going to die.

His weight presses heavily on me. I close my eyes. All hope lost. Beg silently for it to stop. Suddenly, a loud growl. Menacing. Dangerous. It cuts through the storm like a sharp blade. Low. Josh freezes. The others go still. Another sound. A howl. Long and Piercing, next. The woods fall silent. We all fall silent. I smell fear. Instantly, I see them, two glowing eyes in the dark. Gold. Luminous. Like fire. A shadow steps forward. Massive. Primal. Half wolf, half horror.

She leans in close and sniffs me, her long tangled grey hair tickling my nose. Hearing a demented laugh explode from her, I inwardly cringe while she raises her head and peers at me with the scariest eyes I have ever seen. When they look at me, it's as if I am peering into a deep red abyss, so terrifying that I could only ever imagine it in my worst of nightmares. Her face is grotesque and when she laughs again, I see two teeth. Those two teeth though, look razor sharp like fangs.

Horror filled our features. Our eyes went wide as saucers. Oh sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t!

She argued solid and stretched open the wide gates of the haunted house. Bats flew in the sky making dangerous sounds. The complete premises was covered with dried leaves and cobwebs. The mansion looked old, colorless and out of life like a death invite. Amara gulped heavy. She is terrorized, is an understatement yet she was determined to save her boyfriend. As she was about to take her step forward again the same devilish figure appeared before her flying around her in air. This time he was angrier. "Didn't I warn you, do not go there. There is nobody residing inside." He told his same words used hitherto but this time with force.

Paralyzed by terror, Marisol tries to scream, but her voice betrays her. The creature's approach was relentless, closing the distance with a menacing determination. As it drew nearer, so did the distorted features of its nightmarish visage grew clearer, etching an indelible horror into her consciousness.

His wrinkled face looked like it was crawling with countless wriggling worms. I shuddered and stepped back, whispering to Silvia, "Good thing I've got you. This place is terrifying." She snorted and suddenly shoved me forward, straight toward George. With an icy laugh, she said, "This pretty boy will make a great offering. You're going to love him." Before I could react, George gestured, and several eerie puppets stepped forward to pin me down and drain my blood. A sharp bell rang out, echoing through the night.
