Flames Of Hate and Retribution

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

"Holy shit Mortis there's more to you than meets the eyes." A broad grin over took Mortis's face as he lift the stick chest level. "I-It's about time you recognized this." On his final word he slammed his stick point down into the road. At first a faint glow eminated from his staff then quickly began spider webbing out from it's point of origin lighting up a beautiful silver pattern.

The Tale of Echor- An Unexpected Journey

The Tale of Echor- An Unexpected Journey

They are made of mud and a mixture of dark power. Then the secret tunnel is ... It's inside Metanoia. "Now." Azure said as he took a kunai knife from his pocket and quickly threw at our opponents. Two were immediately hit in the back of the neck. Because based on our study, the energy of the Morosis comes from the back of their necks and once you hit them, they will die immediately. Just as Hygge did I also took the kunai knife and rushed at our oponent. We killed twenty morosis effortlessly. We gasped as we leaned against the large tree behind us. While watching the morosis as they gradually melted and disappeared.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Inferno Strike is what he used to kill Bradley and Walter, but without it, his strength would drop by at least half. "My Mighty Beast Palm can match it blow for blow. I've got a technique to counter his, plus the edge in level. So tell me, would I be the one dying? Don't make me laugh." When this bald monk chanted Solmortis prayers and talked about Solmortal, his face was full of compassion and mercy. Yet, when it came to killing for treasure, his eyes burned with greed, and his face twisted with desire. Strangely enough, the more corrupt and cunning Franklin showed himself to be, the more Mia adored him.

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

In Our Mortal World

Again, she didn't feel the device move but watched as the numbers decreased while her anxiety increased. Something about this visit troubled her. A gut feeling that she was about to understand just how messed up and damned the Conqueror truly was. The acute voice of the machine brought her back to earth and she set her foot out. Stephan was already entering the codes allowing her to penetrate the forbidden hell. As she passed him, he bowed which scared her profoundly. Again, the smell tackled her nostrils. The scent of decomposition simply was too strong. But her akin nose sensed a different smell upon walking further ahead. The scent brought her wolf to the surface and felt rich and pure. I

"I'm not, you're just impatient." "Once I opened this up I'll drag you out, hear me!?" "I'm not scared of you even though you look like a monster!" "What!?" "I said you look like a monster!" "I'll count one to three and if you still didn't open this fucking door, you wouldn't like what I am about to do!" "One!" "Two!" I heard a loud banged and when I looked at it my door was almost broken from what he did "GOODNESS GRACIOUS!"

Marked (Mortal, Book Four)

Marked (Mortal, Book Four)

I can't use the talisman unless we're super close together. I curse under my breath. Maybe this was a bad idea. "Hey." Brynn throws a rock, which hits the Silver Hunter in the back. He turns briefly, but it's long enough for me to seize the moment. I charge forward, the talisman held high. The Silver Hunter swings his sword, but I dodge and jab the talisman into his side. He screams as the life force is drained from him, his body falling limp on the ground. Suddenly, it's over. The Silver Hunters lie defeated on the ground, and we stand victorious. I breathe a sigh of relief, my heart still pounding in my chest.

Muffled Scream

Muffled Scream

It ended after a few as they didn’t put on heavy make-up or such, and plus that I have great skin too. I’m not overdoing it, or I am a narcissist. It was based on their comments about me. I’m not that desperate to receive such comments from them. I know myself, and I am totally aware that I’m close to perfection, except that I have scars from the past, physically and emotionally. "Jane! Come up here now. We’ll start after Stefan finishes dressing," said Leina, who happens to be the director and hated me because of my connection to Stefan in the past. She likes him.

BITTEN BY FATE

BITTEN BY FATE

My limbs were frozen, leaden weights immobilized by stark primal terror. It cocked its hairless head, and I flinched as its grotesque features seemed to flow and contort. The sunken pits of its eye sockets split into open, oozing geysers. Blood and rank gray matter poured over its cheeks in rivulets as two baleful yellow orbs blinked into existence inside those spurting wounds. The smile widened into an impossibly broad slash, unhinging its jaw with a sickening pop. It leaned close until its dripping, putrid maw engulfed my vision.

Moonlit Shadows

Moonlit Shadows

Fuck. Something runs past me hiding in the shadows of the woods. I stop in my tracks, scared of death. I can almost hear my heartbeat. My blood is raging in my veins. "Show yourself," I yell angrily. I hear a low growl and see strange eyes focused on me for a second. I scream and fall to the ground. "Alice! Alice! Alice!" The voices have gotten closer. Something is definitely following me in the woods. I stand to my feet hurriedly. My cloth and shoes have mud stains on them. "Fuck," I grunt. The midnight bell rings from afar in the village. What a hell of a way to start my eighteenth-year birthday. I hear the growling clearly as it draws closer to me. My hands are shaking as I grab the dagge

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

I hiss. Apparently, you can't trust the word of someone you met in an underground werewolf bar. The entrance to Dyad Marketplace should be here, right past the— Something glimmers in the bricks on the other side of the fountain. Something bright and shiny. Striding across the courtyard, I approach the bit of metal stuck in the wall. A grin breaks across my face. "Perfect." Placing my fingers on the thin strip of metal—something that would appear completely innocuous and meaningless to any basic person walking by—I speak the incantation. "Aperta obidier."
