Valkyrie Mythology Novels & Stories

Tengu ran rooftop dojos and taught air the art of being stepped on. Valkyries kept to high places—the bones of old volcanoes and the ends of ridgelines where clouds hooked themselves to the earth. Their halls were no-nonsense spaces full of banners that told you who’d died and why and whether they’d done it well. They had little patience for mirrors, good ale, and a lot of opinions about cowards. They also had, if you stayed long enough to see it, an excellent sense of humor that was mostly practical jokes played on giants, and once—only once—on a dragon who took it well enough to leave the mountain unmolested for a year.

This setting happened only in my history class during my school days but I can't believe that it's happening now to me for real. I broadened my visions inside the palace and I was so obsessed to see a giant statue in front of the King's throne. It's a golden statue of the Goddess Hera, Zeus' wife in Mythology. I can still recall how Hera became so jealous and vengeful to some of Zeus' lovers in my Mythology subject. I never thought to see my favorite Goddess here inside what they called the Valkyrie Kingdom.

Valkyrie The energy surged through me like wildfire, setting every nerve ablaze. My feet lifted from the ground, drawn toward the floating crystal as if the very air had turned to liquid, pulling me deeper, closer. My wolf howled inside me, torn between instinctive fear and the irresistible call of something ancient—something meant for me. "Valkyrie!" Phanos' voice rang through the chaos, but it was distant, muffled, as though I were submerged in another world entirely.

Once they were out of sight, I downed the mead and breathed a sigh of relief. I joined the others by the fire; they were talking about their plans for the night. I was half listening as my mind drifted and started thinking about my mom and the past. I stared into the flames as I drank my mead, my memories taking shape as the fire acted them out. No one but Thana and the Gods knew about my past, it was just as much hers as well as mine. They hid our history from stories and myths. Thana and I were the only born Valkyrie in existence, mostly because Valkyries did not procreate. Our mother was Brynhild she was one of the most famous Valkyries in history, and one of the most shamed.

She better get used to it—with Kaia, Zoe, Summer, and Zoe’s warriors, the she-wolf energy in this group could power a nation. While Mom and Mist start sketching a strategy, Gondul turns to another Valkyrie. “Find Selene, Thor, and Hecate. We need them now. Go!” The Valkyrie doesn’t respond. She just whistles, and one of those stunning white horses bursts from the trees. She swings onto its back, kicks her heels, and is airborne—lightning cracking in her wake.

Ginny who was holding her mystical sword was about to take the sword out of its scabbard, but Damien held her back and chose to talk to Saveroth first. "What is it?" Saveroth, who usually smiled sarcastically, now had a very serious expression on his face. And one word that came out of his mouth, made Ginny's eyes widen perfectly. "Valkyrie." Damien closed his eyes, "I see." The hundreds of thousands of troops that were within Damien's shadow were already screaming very loudly. Ninety-nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine ghouls roared as loudly as they could. The two giant knight golems thumped their own chests with the hilts of the giant swords they were holding. Sixteen top-level vam

"You're just the loose end he hasn't figured out how to tie off. Yet." Tears blurred my vision. I tried to pull away, but just then, a loud crack echoed through the chamber. The sacred vessel containing the blood of the Valkyrie ancestors had fractured. It was an ancient crystal container, filled with the pure blood of their progenitors, pulsing with immense power. And now, that power was about to break free. "Everyone, back!" Viktor roared. But it was too late. The vessel exploded, sending a massive wave of energy ripping through the room.

I asked him, panic thick in my voice as I suddenly looked around in fright and waited for whatever this evil may be to suddenly attack me since I was aware of its existence. "Tis a tale, is it not?" he casually spoke with a shrug and I shook my head. "There is truth in myths, Abigor. You of all people should know that," he was a man of intelligence, no doubt a man that should be aware of truths in all matters myth or folklore, "and what you have described...only one mythical creature is capable of sucking the blood out of its victims..." Master Abigor looked down at me, his eyes emotionless yet eager. The left corner of his lips slightly raised as he gave me a slow blink, "and which mythical

Holly said, “you can get your slutty mouth over here and get me off.” Valerie stared at the woman for a moment. She had never gone down on another woman before. Had never even thought about it, if she were honest with herself. Yet, here she was being ordered to do it. She didn’t know if this was part of her punishment, her humiliation, or if Holly genuinely wanted it. Valerie had never heard the other woman say anything about being into women, so the fact she wanted Valerie to go down on her surprised her.
