We don't even feel anything for them unless they're our sire or we have sired them! We're not like other beings that feel the bond or mate pull. We're different! The only thing we know is how tasty our partner's blood is. If they aren't like us, then we end up falling in love or changing them to be like us so we can have them by our side forever," she said, making me laugh.

He enlightened her. "Breed? There are breeds? Aren't you all the same?" Adrianna was dumbfounded to know that vampires have different breeds. He got up and went to grab a book from his shelves, and hand a heavy book to Adrianna. "This will help you because I am not good at explaining things and facts." Said Alaric. Her palms touched the cover of the book which looked antique and royal. She read the title 'Vamoose', called Vampire in latin. "You didn't tell me you have kids." Alaric asked her.

You know what this means, right?” Her grandfather doesn't know how to react even though he knows what Akira means. “I think there was a breach. I believe some vampires have already escaped the Riparian zone and sneaked in to mate with our female citizens to produce dhampir.” Akira muttered but enough for her grandfather to hear.
