I felt everything they did but they didn't know I was awake, just not fully conscious. "When do I get to go home?" I was trying to be sleek by making that the first statement I made after a long while of unconsciousness but sadly, nobody even heard me. It was all in my head. Fucking head. Then a randomly weird thought popped in my head. I hadn't even previously thought about it, oddly. I think about all things foolish but me just having the thought was weird. I'm losing my weird bone? Nope, I don't think so, nope, nada, never to not be weird. So I returned to my weird thoughts.

River The mind is a curious thing, you juggle things you had no idea you were capable of juggling. I thought I could move on from things but I found myself sifting through today. I wasn’t the type to let things get under it. Not really. Not things like gossip or self-righteous deans spouting morality with wine-stained lips and trembling egos. But after I left her office that morning, I found my thoughts curiously unsettled, looping over her words like a scratched record.

Today felt different, like the start of something new. I reached for my iPad again, scrolling through my ideas for the next vlog. One idea caught my eye, a simple yet powerful concept: "Moments That Matter." It felt fitting, almost poetic, given the events of the past few days. I wanted to create something that celebrated the little things—the laughter over coffee, the encouragement from friends, the quiet victories that often go unnoticed.

Would my mental health be high enough to handle it? No don't think about that, think about the exhibit in a few days coming. I laid there, wallowing in different confused thoughts of what I should do and what I shouldn't. Life is hard.

Maybe it's time for a change, maybe it's time to shake things up a bit. I've been thinking about all the what-ifs, all the things that could go wrong. But I've also been thinking about all the things that could go right. And you know what? I think the potential rewards are worth the risk. I'm not getting any younger, and I don't want to look back on my life and wonder what could've been.
