Nivea's POV: Looking into his eyes all I could see was adoration and love. I sighed thinking about it. In a few days we will be mated and there will be nothing that can come between us. We walked downstairs and turned on a TV show, The Walking Dead. We were on Season 2 Episode 5 when Keenan got a mindlink and his face immediately changed from content to upset. "Whats wrong?" I asked. "It's my dad. He's requesting us in his office with him and my mother as soon as possible. I think something is wrong. " He stated with a grim tone.

” That perks my ears up. “Why is that? Don’t believe they exist?” “Umm, no. Not that. It’s interesting, for sure, and I choose to believe anything is possible. It’s stupid and narrow minded to think that humans are the only intelligent creatures in the universe. I’m sure that there are beings living on Earth that are what most would consider supernatural that we haven’t discovered yet. I mean, we discover new plant life and ocean life all the time. I just have a hard time with those books because they give me nightmares.”

These fucked-up things are shoved down our throat daily. We’re force-fed them through television, radio, movies, the newspaper, YouTube and Facebook and Twitter and Vine and hell knows what else. The only way our brain can cope with all this strange shit, I think, is to codify it in dreams. And when strange shit actually happens to us . . .

Maybe he’d thought he’d locked it, but hadn’t. I meandered forward, glancing around the cluttered shelves. My gaze didn’t settle on anything in particular, gliding over used tools, old board games, discarded dolls and other cast-offs. By the time I reached the counter, most of my unease (okay, fear) had passed. The human brain is interesting, if you think about it. It doesn’t want to be afraid or think about things hiding in the shadows. It hates ideas that don’t make sense, or things that trouble us deeply inside . . .

Well, I must find it out no matter what. "You know, you don't have to worry such things especially like this. And instead of thinking too much, we should enjoy things. Come on, it'll be a waste if we just end up in a bad situation when clearly there's nothing to be worried." He's right, I shouldn't let my mind kept on thinking non-sense things. After all, his actions are completely different, he wouldn't do it.

"But what if while we're trying to learn stuff we don't know, something happens? Something that we have yet to know, and it's too late for us already." I let out a nervous chuckle because of his question, "Where did the sudden overthinking come from?" I joked to at least ease the sudden atmosphere Mirco's question brought to us. "I'm just wondering," he shrugged. "There are things that happen at the time we least expect it, and so we couldn't think properly of how to solve it. What if while we're chilling, taking things slow, something bad happens?"

Dr. Barren lowered his glasses and looked at Troy honestly. "Well how is any of that psychotic thinking? You may see things much clearer than the average person. And that most people have no choice but to live with these 'trappings' just might mean that they put on blinders to cope with it." Dr. Barren closed the folder. "And having controversial or unpopular ideas doesn't make for mental illness. But it wouldn't hurt to talk to a psychiatrist. I'd recommend it."
