Captivating The Eyes

Captivating The Eyes

"I was told it was going to get better but I still feel sick when a session is over. It's simple movements of the eyes and they put these orange drops over my pupil to stimulate the nerve endings in my coronaries but those are nothing but annoying. At first it didn't work but now I can see a difference. I went from seeing close to nothing, to seeing outlines and some shapes. But that's only in the dark." I swallow the acidic taste that has slithered up my throat and look at him. "Progress is good. Maybe by next year you will see more distinct features." My guilt ridden self has come out of hiding but I have to admit that this news lessens the horrible weight. "Is there anything else you can

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Irene My eyes are closed, but I can feel it, like my body’s moving, drifting somewhere I can’t control. I don’t know if I’m floating or falling. There’s no pain. Not even a hint of it. Just… nothing. For a second, I think maybe I’ve stopped existing altogether, but then it all fades into black again.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Saved By The Alpha

Saved By The Alpha

Not a wall, a warm body. I furrowed my brows and looked up into wickedly mesmerizing green eyes. “And where do you think you’re going?”

All for the billionaire

All for the billionaire

I try as much as I can to act normal around her in order to ease her worries. I'm trying to edit some pictures in the studio but I cannot seem to concentrate, so I decide to take a stroll to feel a little bit at ease. The stroll doesn't seem to be working. I seem to be spinning, My eyes can't focus on a spot. Nothing prepares me for the impact of the floor as I hit it with force and immediately black out.

blind

blind

7 years ago "Doctor what happened to her?" I heard my mother's soft voice. "She has Retinitis Pigmentosa." I heard, what I assumed, the doctor "W-What is that?" My mother's trembling voice asked as I felt her hand grip mine. Something was wrong with me. Everything was black. I know for sure my eyes were open but I can't seem to see anything. I heard someone sigh. "M-mom, I cannot. I cannot see." I said as I tried to sit up but someone pushed me down. "Please settle down, honey while I talk to the doctor." My mother said.

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA

"I don't know why you're suddenly seeing this, but it's been there since I was born" "Oh!" I mouthed. So I'd missed something as big as this on her nose. Are my eyes that bad that I couldn't see this, and seeing how weird it looks right now... "And it's not weird!" Becca cuts through my train of thought, rolling her eyes at me. "and why should you see this? You're not..." She suddenly pauses, narrowing her face with a frown that latches on her face. "Don't tell me!" She barks, her voice going higher than usual, making all head turns toward us and letting out a hiss.

Half Blooded Heiress (Dracu's Lost Daughter)

Half Blooded Heiress (Dracu's Lost Daughter)

I just closed my eyes, and just listened to the conversations of the three people below us. “Where are they now?” One of them asked. “What’s where?” Replied the other. “The ones I shoot, I knew in myself that they were what we’re looking for!” “You’re crazy! I did hope you didn’t forget to bring your glasses.” “What, my eyes can still clearly see, hey!” “Okay, fine! If it’s clear then, why didn’t you manage to injure even one of them?” “Because they moved, that’s why.” “It’s too unfortunate, we can’t go home without anything in our hands!”

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

The Reaper posture returned. "I do not have an appointment. My calendar is clear." "The optometrist, Cale. 11:00 AM. You’ve been squinting at the crossword puzzle for weeks." "I do not squint. I narrow my eyes to reduce glare. The paper is too reflective." "You hold the paper at arm's length. Your arms aren't long enough anymore. You look like a T-Rex trying to read a map." "My vision is 20/20. I am a spotter. I can see a threat from three hundred yards."

Don't Jump

Don't Jump

I closed my eyes, about to jump off a building, when an ill-timed phone ringtone blared. On the other end of the phone came a voice that I couldn't be more familiar with. It was my own voice. "Don't jump, Jack Sterling."

As the moon began to rust

As the moon began to rust

You’d stare straight at it, and wonder if there is something somewhere out there, other than depressing sunny days and lonely Sundays, something more. When you’d take your eyes off the sun again you’d only see red spots, as if the light had forgotten them on your retina, and then you would stand around and ponder why your eyes would always wander towards the sun, although you don't want them to and actually know that it is only doing harm.
