The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

Its fur catches the sunlight in a way that makes me see individual hairs, the way they layer and overlap. It's watching me with black eyes. Its small round ears swivel independently, and I wonder what it hears, what the world sounds like at that pitch, whether the grass growing makes a sound, whether my heartbeat is loud to those sensitive ears. "Hi," I whisper. I extend my hand slowly. My palm up, offering nothing because I have nothing to offer—no food, no nuts, no seeds, just an empty hand. The squirrel takes a step closer. I can see the details of its face—the tiny nose black and twitching, the whiskers long and white, sensing the air, reading the world through vibration and scent, the s

Appreciation to authors writing. it is easy to visualize things while reading. I love reading this book. Mia is an inspiration except for the fact that she is using Thomas. My fav characters are Mia, Kyle, Sarah(Mia's mom), Nate, Scarlett, Katherine(Kyle's mom), Alexander, Ethan and Morton.

great story. thomas lied cause he was jealous while kyle lied cause he wanted to protect her. she clearly loves kyle even though she doesn't admit it and is only with thomas since he gives a sence of security/love to her and kids. i hope kyle and mia clear their misunderstandings and end up together

The Alpha's Babysitter

The Alpha's Babysitter

Theo, his heart pounding with anticipation, held his hand steady, his eyes fixed on the squirrel. Slowly, the squirrel reached out, its delicate paws accepting the crackers. Theo, his face alight with joy, watched as the squirrel scurried back to its branch, its cheeks bulging with the tasty morsels. "Mama Hazel, I helped the squirrel!" he exclaimed, his voice bursting with pride. Mama Hazel, her heart brimming with warmth, knelt down and hugged him tightly. "You did, Theo," she said, her voice filled with admiration. "You were so kind to share your crackers with the squirrel."

Shai just transformed into a serval! " Let the squirrel go... And how can you do that, Shai? It's Shai, right? The serval's sharp claw releases the squirrel, and it takes off with a screech. I still check the garden, feeling uneasy for some reason. I was sure someone was watching me, but everything was clear.

Redheads & Ranchers

Redheads & Ranchers

"I wish you could, too." Poppy gasped at a flash of movement she saw out of the corner of her eye. A small golden-brown animal scampered to the top of a boulder not ten feet from them. Perched on the rock, it balanced against a short furry tail as it stood in its hind legs and munched on a tiny pinecone. "What is it?" Poppy whispered. "It's a northern Idaho ground squirrel. They run all over this mountain. Believe it or not, they're endangered." Hunter smiled affectionately at the diminutive rodent.

Blessed By the Moon Goddess

Blessed By the Moon Goddess

The squirrel stopped in its tracks before turning and running back toward the woods. Bullets went flying as the squirrel raced to safety. “Well, that answers that question” Johnathan said as he floated up and over the gate. Sally followed and waited, taking ques from him. They floated there for a minute before Johnathan said, “I am sorry I should have never doubted your loyalty. I had a feeling back at the cave that you were hiding something from me and now I know what it is.” Johnathan said as he watched her reaction. She tensed a little at his words.

Caleb

Caleb

The squirrel sat by the bush, oblivious to the two pairs of amber eyes trained on it. The forest was mostly silent, none of its inhabitants wanting to make too much noise, just so they wouldn’t startle their target. Caleb’s wolf prowled in the thick of the shrubs, waiting for the right moment to pounce on the tiny animal. Squirrels could be fast, they had the gift of moving past one’s reach just when you thought you had them, so, the utmost care had to be exercised, to avoid losing them. he took a tentative step forward, and lowered himself a little, angling himself in a position to leap. Once certain that the squirrel was within reach, and wouldn’t be able to scramble away, Caleb leaped.

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

the kitten roared and chased it up the tree. "I'm fast! I'm like a bird! You can't run from me!" Usha confidently jumped up to the branch of the tree, following closely behind the squirrel. The squirrel was panicking. It didn't want to be caught by the cat, so it ran to the edge of one of the branches. Then it saw another branch close by, just a bit further and on the next tree, so it just jumped away over there. Usha followed it until the edge of the branch and also jumped, but due to his body weight being just a bit fatter than the squirrel, the branch broke and sent him pummeling to the ground.

Kissing the Bad Boy

Kissing the Bad Boy

The little squirrel looked up at me and shook its head, saying, “No, I’m not okay,” The squirrel was lying down and holding onto its knees like it was in a fetal position. I didn’t know if he was sick or what, but he looked miserable, and I felt bad. “What can I do to help?” I asked. “Do you want some of my sandwich?” “I don’t need that,” “What do you need?” “I need you to stay with me,” the squirrel replied. “Will you do that?” “Of course, I will,” “And you won’t ever leave me?”

I paid for and read (1) The Mafia’s Good Girl and (2) The Mafia’s Wife and (3) The Mafia’s Daughter and (4) The Teacher’s Pet. Now all those books are vanished from the app. It’s so unfair because I spent a lot of money and enjoyed rereading them because I kept them in my Library where they vanished

I highly recommend this book! This author never fails to amaze the readers! Wonderful talent and expression to pull you into the story. This book will make you laugh, cry, make you mad and most of all believe in that special bond of friendship and love.

My Stepfather Is My Mate

My Stepfather Is My Mate

His chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm, and with each breath, I found a fragment of peace. As Sebastian held me close, he continued to speak, his voice a soft murmur against the canvas of my anxiety. "You know," he said, his eyes twinkling mischievously, "I once read that squirrels have a habit of forgetting where they bury their acorns. Can you imagine being a squirrel with a terrible memory? It must be quite the challenge!"

The writing is very bad in both story composition & grammar. On plus side The story is unique & has potential

Falling into the devil's bed

Falling into the devil's bed

It grabs onto his hair tightly. I cover my mouth, giggling at the sight. “I didn’t know you had a second job as a woodland princess,” “Oh my goodness,” he sighs, his shoulders slumping. “Now she calls me a princess,” as soon as he says those words, a small sparrow lands on his shoulder. “Mommy look!” A kid beside us yells excitedly. “Can I go play with the squirrel man?!” “Squirrel man?!” Vincent chokes out. He gets to his feet, gently pushing the squirrels off him. “Hey, kid! Who are you calling squirrel man?!”
