The car carrying Willow Answers and Tristan stopped at a cabin house on the edge of the forest with a view of the beautiful Skovovich castle that stood very firmly on the hill. After getting out of the car, Tristan stared at the castle, looking at it without saying anything. However, Tristan's shoulder was immediately tapped by Gabriel, who asked him to enter the cabin directly. In contrast, the unauthorized wolves were asked to wait outside and guard to ensure that no one could get close to the cabin and interrupt the conversation they were about to have.

Mike turned and saw Emma was showing Emily the property. The Stuarts, cabin was relatively small, but it was mainly for any women to scared to sleep outside. There was a main room connected to the kitchen with a small table and a few couches, two bedrooms with bunk beds, and a single bathroom with a shower. The cabin itself sat up on a small hill a ways up from the river. There was a dirt path leading down to a large patch of St. Augustine next to a dock and small wooden shed. The flat area at the bottom of the hill followed the river in both directions, but came to an end on the right when the river came back to the edge of the hill, cutting off the flat area.

I tried to shake it off, focusing instead on the beauty of the forest around us. When the cabin finally came into view, nestled in a small clearing at the end of the road, I couldn’t help but gasp. It was larger than I’d imagined, a sturdy wooden structure with a stone chimney, smoke curling lazily from it. The place was almost too perfect, like something out of a postcard, and for a moment, all my worries faded. Kaivan parked the car and quickly came around to open my door. "Welcome to our weekend getaway," he said, his voice a bit brighter, though that underlying tension was still there.

The air is crisp, carrying the earthy scent of pine needles and damp moss, grounding anyone who steps into this natural haven. The cabins are rustic but charming, constructed from weathered wood that blends seamlessly with the surrounding forest. Each cabin is positioned with just enough distance between them to offer privacy, yet close enough to foster a sense of community among the couples. The cabins are adorned with large windows that invite the sunlight to pour in during the day, casting warm, dappled patterns across the wooden floors. At night, the soft glow of lanterns illuminates the interiors, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

When we reach the cabin, I'm speechless. The cabin is two stories, with a wraparound porch, complete with cushioned swing. A large chimney juts out from the top, meaning that there's a fireplace somewhere in the house, which will be great for the winter when we won't have a heating system. Reese looks at me. "Why don't you take Ryder up to the house and get him comfortable, then you can help us unpack."

"Keys to the cabin, it's your wedding night you need your privacy. Your guys can bed down here there's plenty of room and I think some of the sheep already got them on lock." "Alright, how about this one? A little house on the outskirts, with a charming front porch and a tiny backyard. It's got a lot of character." I studied the pictures but didn’t feel a connection. "It’s nice, but... I don’t know. It doesn’t feel like the right fit." Then she pulled out a final sheet, pausing for a moment before handing it to me. "This one is a little different," she said, watching my reaction closely. "It’s a small cabin in the woods, about a fifteen-minute drive from town. It’s quiet, secluded, and fully furnished."

The graveled path is now free of the white sleet that had covered it for months. At the end of the route, a glimpse of a cabin met my gaze. It was made of wood, a stair of three steps leading to the porch where a wooden swing rested adjacent to the window. Unlit outdoor chandelier decorates the corners of the cabin, and I wonder how it would look at night. The pitched roof of the house served its purpose of keeping the roof dry.

Erwin waved at us as we drove through. “What kind of cabin has a gate and a security guard?” Whittaker asked. “A cabin that’s owned by an egotistical maniac. All of Barrett’s houses have a security guard. They all hated my father, but he pays well, so they keep quiet.” She stared out the windshield as we drove up to the ‘cabin.’ “This is a cabin?” Wynn asked as we all stared up at the building in front of us. It resembled a mansion more than a cabin. The house was at least three stories high, built of artistically placed bricks, large windows, and a garage off to the side that could easily house twenty cars.

Shawn roused from a deep sleep as the form next to him shifted under the arm that enfolded her. They found his old vacation cottage near the highway, fifteen miles away from the inn, and they stopped and waited for the blizzard to pass. It had been years since he had visited this isolated place. He bought this five years ago when he and his grandfather had their first-ever deer hunting trip, and since then, the cabin was empty and only visited by the caretaker once a month.
