The Rogue King

The Rogue King

Below them seemed to be normal humans and animals. She wondered where the building the two deities were hovering over was on the continent. She walked to the shelf beneath the tapestry and skimmed the titles. Most of them seemed to be religious books about the deities and creation, but there was one titled The Great Conflict. She pulled it from the shelf and opened it to the first page.

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

“The world-building was really vague. They have magic, but it’s never really explained. There aren’t any rules. Also, nothing really happens until the last quarter of the book. Before that, they just kind of meander around aimlessly.” “I guess I can see that,” I admitted. XXX

THE REWRITE: Transmigrating Into Another World

THE REWRITE: Transmigrating Into Another World

he commanded as Mars moved to follow. "But-" Mars swallowed his protest, shrinking under the prince’s hard stare. This was not the capricious man he could banter with; this was the Mad Demon of the Battlefield, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword, Ember, a living weapon ready to be unleashed. ♡♡♡ A Light That Changes Fate was a fantasy world, and its royals wielded magic. The world operated on a flow of energy- Aethyr- that fueled sorcery and caused strange phenomphenons.

MY CRUEL PROTECTOR

MY CRUEL PROTECTOR

He drew his broken claymore, the rune-etched steel catching the first light of the morning sun. "And the rest of the world?" he asked. "The rest of the world can wait," I said. "We have a family to protect. And a son who needs to learn that in this world, you are either the Architect or the scrap." I walked back into the Kremlin, the heavy doors hissing shut behind me. The silence returned, but it wasn't the silence of peace. It was the silence of a kingdom being born from the ash. The war with the stars was a prologue. The real story was just beginning. And with 112 chapters ahead of us, the world was going to learn that the Architect didn't just build grids.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

ALPHA's Temptation

ALPHA's Temptation

Lora's mother had fled after giving birth to her daughter. She lifted the brick in the north corner of the room as she emptied the dungeon more carefully. "What is this book?" she inquired. The book was dusty, and the gold was almost faded, almost bronze. The title of the book was Life of the Witch. The book is about wizards and their interactions with the outer world. Lora read the book, sentence by sentence. A strange planet, yet she wished to visit it. The pages depicted a pleasant and quiet way of life. She saw herself growing up, her body perfect, producing beautiful curves with no scars, bruises, or blood flow in the corners of her lips.

Claimed By The Vampire King

Claimed By The Vampire King

"They’re architects. They’re the ones who decide where the edges of the world go." Caius put a hand on the page, his touch leaving a faint, dark smudge on the ancient paper. "If they're the architects, and they're behind that portal... then our world is just a project they’ve left unfinished." I looked from the book to the darkness of the library, feeling a strange sense of clarity. For the first time, I wasn't just reacting to the Wastes. I was starting to understand that the Wastes were just a chapter in a much, much bigger book. And these monsters? They weren't the villains. They were the ones holding the pen.

Reborn As a Villain Son With The Stronger Wife

Reborn As a Villain Son With The Stronger Wife

Gold-tier fighters who had survived things that should have killed them turned around and walked away from her without explaining why. She had destroyed three kingdoms. The novel stated this as historical fact, briefly, in a section of worldbuilding that the author clearly found more interesting than the hero's romantic subplot but had buried in Chapter 74 anyway. Three kingdoms, across what the novel implied was a very long time, for reasons that were never specified.

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

"You fight systems to rise. I built them to rule. Why resist?" Sake burned silk fire down my throat, loosening the knot his proximity always tied. "Because your empire's built on engineered ruins—scandals, leaks, blood like Rourke's neck. I'm no pawn for your Tokyo games." He leaned closer, scarred jaw inches from mine, heat radiating no touch—torture exquisite. "Pawn? No. Queen." Obsidian eyes bored soul-deep, half-smirk curving lethal. "I fell first, Nia. Two years past—your TED talk. 'Crisis as Catalyst.' Dissected corporate lies like a surgeon and hacked your life that night. Runs mapped, strategies stolen, Darius's files unearthed. Obsessed. Dangerous minds recognize their match."

Two worlds that collide

Two worlds that collide

It was a domestic scene frozen in time, a reminder of the life they had almost touched. The "hood days" were over. The mist was rising, and the Jackals were looking. The war was followed them to the heights, and as the heavy steel doors of the vault hissed shut, Vivienne realized that peace wasn't a place you found—it was a territory you had to defend until the very end.
