I was stronger. Xander rushed towards me and with a force capable of levelling a car to shred, lunged at me. I swiftly sidestepped, tipping him out of balance and with the anger in me, I grabbed Xander by the neck. I threw in the air and jumped to catch up with him. With both my forearms, I smashed him by the chest back to the ground. He landed loudly. I mounted him and began choking him. But my anger was rising and choking him was not enough. I held him by the head, smashing his head against the floor until the tiles broke into pieces. I shifted the pieces of tiles out of the way to expose the dense concrete. My anger had gotten the best of me. Today was the day Xander died.

Within moments, the room was silent, and the only sound was the harsh breathing of Xander. Xander stood in the middle of the room, his chest heaving and his eyes blazing with fury. He was like a wild animal, his muscles tense and his breathing labored. He was a force to be reckoned with, and anyone who crossed him would regret it. He was a ruthless billionaire, and he wouldn't let anyone get in his way. He would do anything to protect his family, and anyone who dared to harm them would face his wrath. He was a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted, and no one could stand in his way.

Prince Xander Reenan took a deep breath and exhaled roughly. "Mother, I have to go find them. I'm worried," Prince Xander said, then bowed his head in respect to his mother. He walked quickly out of the party. Queen Lourine Chatrine smiled as she watched her son leave. Prince Xander rushed to find Dante, Glory, George and the wolf. He checked almost every room. He walked down the halls to the pond where he had come. He didn't see anyone. The place is quiet. Suddenly, he ran towards their first room. He immediately opened the door to the room. He was very surprised to see Dante, Glory and George lying on one bed. Their bodies were wrapped in white cloth, only their faces were visible.

Xander ran towards the woods at the back of their house. He noticed Xavier’s silhouette there. He held the letter tightly in his hand, almost wrinkling it. “Vie!” Xander called, breathless. “We received an answer,” he added quickly. His usual deep voice was slightly high pitched from the excitement. Xavier emerged from between the trees wearing nothing but his work pants. His bare feet sank into the green moss. His hair was still wet from his swim in the lake.

And since Ace—who was at the wheels—was more of a maniacal driver than Nick, we arrived at the location in mere minutes. It was the city center, and Xander was in the heart of it, in the worst state I’d ever seen him. Tears streamed freely down my cheeks as we all ran to him, only to find him unconscious and laying in a pool of his own blood. He was naked, proving that he'd probably been in his wolf form before he was knocked out and he must’ve weakly shifted back. As though that wasn't horrible enough, a confusing message was carved unto his chest, and the asshole who did it had the audacity to use his flesh as a canvas and his blood as the paint.

“If you were strong, you wouldn’t need chains and blades to prove it.” Nyla’s lips curled into a cruel smirk. “Fine. If blood won’t break you, I have something better.” The heavy door groaned open. Boots echoed across the chamber floor. Xander. He stepped into the torchlight, his broad frame casting shadows along the stone walls. His expression was dark, unreadable, his gaze fixed on me with that hunger I despised. Nyla’s smile widened. She spread her hand toward me like a gift. “I promised you a little surprise, didn’t I? Here she is. She’s all yours.”
