BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

Chapter 4 Naomi POV ~ “Naomi.” Nicklaus yelled on the phone, then I knew the call was connected, and he had been listening to the entire conversation. I could feel his anger knowing I was planning to leave with Vincent even if he was not present here, his voice tells it all. Elijah turned and looked at me saying,“I should have known this is also one of your tricks you are playing again, I regret calling Alpha Nicklaus if I know you will hurt him, don't you have any conscience?” Elijah said being angry at me.

Elena remains by my side, her calming presence a lifeline at this moment of vulnerability. As my sobs subside, I find a glimmer of strength within me. I wipe away my tears, determined to face the challenges that lie ahead. “Thank you, Elena,” I say, my voice filled with a mixture of gratitude and determination. “I won't give up on us. I'll find a way to break through the walls that hold Nate captive.”

Nia said, her eyes lighting up like star filled oceans. Nia was a year and some older than me, and the daughter of our Beta, Jaxon and his mate, Awena. She had yet to find her mate, but she also didn’t travel far outside the village. I always tried to keep her hopes up that he was out there, just not born yet. She jokes because everyone knows my parents’ story, but she would always get a little bummed out.

If this female made her hostile, then something really bad must have happened. “You are Gianna. Everyone knows that. I'm a good friend of your… I mean, Alpha Enzo.” I felt Nalia shift beside me. She was a friend of my brother? “What do you think you're doing?” Nalia growled as she stepped in front of me. I was utterly confused as to what was going on. Blaire finally looked at Nalia, her smile morphing into a smirk. I noticed that despite her small wolf form, she seemed to be over Nalia in height.

She tilted her head toward Jax, mouthing, He’s being a smug little lizard. Jax smirked from the sidelines. Tora rolled her eyes. “Just do it. And tell the hatchlings I’ll send them sky candy if they behave.” CALL #3 – Nalia to the Phoenix Watchers “Kensavion. Yeah, hi. It’s Nalia. I need you to alert the perimeter watchers in the southern hemisphere. Australia, Argentina, South Africa—any place wild and open. We’re looking for... no, not runaways. Horse shifters.”

Grabbing her pack, she placed it on her shoulders, settling its weight with determination. Finding a temporary perch atop the carriage, Naida perched herself there, patiently waiting for her turn to access the air bladder and replenish her breath. Observing Naida's position, Tritan descended from the air bladder and saw her thoughtfully. Signing to her underwater, he asked, "May I help you ascend to the air bladder?" Naida nodded in appreciation, accepting Tritan's offer of assistance. With utmost care, Tritan gently wrapped his arms around her waist, lifting her with strength and tenderness until he heard her draw a deep, gasping breath.

I was punished again. But my heart did not break. I swore then—I would win Sebastian’s love. No matter what. So I defied Vaxar with my own will. I sought Nia. I begged for her aid. “What must I do to win this game?” I asked. “What is it truly?” She frowned. “Should you be here?” “That is not the point, Nia. Nadia's PoV In the aftermath of the searing pain, I found myself in an empty void. It was an abyss of nothingness, and a profound sense of disorientation enveloped me. As I looked around, a pale and weak figure materialized in front of me. Another woman, a mirage in this formless void. Confusion etched my face as I tried to make sense of my surroundings. "Where am I?" I questioned, the words echoing in the emptiness. The pale woman, a mere reflection of myself, faced me with an enigmatic gaze.

It was always about Nia’s safety. I had underestimated the reach of a man like Darius. He might have initially mistaken Nia for Zuri, but that error had been rectified, and now he knew exactly who she was. "How many scouts are at the site?" I asked. "Twenty. Our elite trackers." "I should tell you," I started, looking out the window as the forest thinned. "Nia is a blood-daughter of the Shadowfang line. Darius is her half-brother." Tunde went still, his disbelief etched into his features. "You are not serious."
