I went to the kitchen and saw him handing me a glass of wine. "Very kind of you, thanks." I smiled. "Let's drink for us. For our future." "Cheers," I said enthusiastically. We drank, had fun, and finally watched a movie in which, of course, I fell asleep. I remember Jack carrying me to the bed and smiling at me. Then I didn't know that ... this would be the last time I see him. NOWADAYS It was a busy day in Miami, as always. I couldn't wait for the new case.

It was all so confusing, I didn’t know how to feel or what to think about any of the events that had happened today. I brushed my teeth and slipped into my pajamas, pulling my hair down so I didn’t get a headache I crawled into bed. The last thing that crossed my mind before I drifted off to sleep was the surprised look on Alpha Cole’s face when I sprayed him with the hose, and I smiled.

AZURE I stood there, trembling with disbelief, unable to accept the harsh reality before me. Zeke, my mentor, my friend, my guiding light, was gone. A haze of despair clouded my mind, pushing me to the brink of madness. "No, no, this can't be real!" I muttered, my voice choked with anguish. "Zeke, you can't be dead! You were supposed to be invincible!" In a desperate attempt to jolt myself back to reality, I raised my hand and slapped my own face, feeling the sting reverberate through my palm. But the pain was nothing compared to the torment within my shattered heart.

Blood was running down the front of her once beautiful, light pink ball gown, highlighting the crimson colour before pooling on the floor around her knees. I looked at Beth’s terror-filled eyes and watched as the life drained from them, before she slumped forward on the floor, dead.

Lea looked at Charles and his heart started to race again. “Come on,” he told her as he stretched his hand to her. She took it and stood up. She muttered an apology to Zade before walking out of the casino. Zade sighed and walked to the minibar in his office. He poured himself a glass of vodka and leaned on the wall as he sipped it. How is he going to get his wife back?

-KARINA- I LET out a long, shaky breath. It felt as though a thorn had finally been pulled from my chest when I saw nothing terrible happened to Zeke. Disappointment was etched across his face. His beard had grown thick and unkempt, his body leaner than before. His sharp jawline stood out starkly now, and the dark circles beneath his eyes made him look exhausted—like a man who hadn’t slept in days. What happened to him to make him look so worn?

Vania asked after noticing. ... To be continued

When I went to get breakfast, it was a heavily meat-based breakfast, with a buffet spread out for everyone to choose from and load up as they pleased. One look at what was a little too bloody meat and I was so queasy I ran out of it and barely kept from gagging. All I was reminded of was the severed limbs and blood. Limbs I had to touch and pile up together then burn before gathering the bones and burying them where they won't ever be found. In a matter of a day, zade has turned me into an accomplice and made me bury and burn bodies all in the name of cleaning up our messes.

Holy Mary, mother of God. Liza is going murder me with her looks. I rushed down in jeans and shirt while holding my coat in one hand.. They were all seated and were almost done with their foods. Sadie was busy on her phone, Sophie was pushing the food around the plate and staring at the food dryly while Liza ate with great etiquette.
