Today is Friday! The most exciting day of Zelda's life. A day she had marked as the best day ever because she was going to get married to her soulmate, the one who had never ceased to make her heart ache. His name is victor. Zelda sat by the edge of her bed, admiring her bridal gown which hung on the dummy stand. It was so beautiful that she couldn't stop staring at it. She has longed to wear a bridal gown. For years, Zelda watched her friends get mated while hers never showed up. She felt the moon goddess hates her so much for not giving her a mate at the initial stage.

We then move vigorously in and out of her until we are releasing inside of her. I hold myself still as Morpheus continues to move slightly, waiting for our release to complete itself, before going again and again. Zelda then throws us off of her when she can and takes off running again as she laughs down the link, “You will have to do more than that to keep me under you, mate of mine…”

Zelda had hardly met anyone since her arrival and those she had met liked her. Well except Laelia but she was with me the whole time so it couldn’t have been her. Zelda is with me, so if she doesn’t have an enemy then do I? why would they hurt Zelda and not come at me directly. Then again there was a lot of water, and she is still getting used to walking in heels maybe it is as simple as she just slipped.

Zelda "Shut up," mom told me roughly, digging in the cabinet until she came back with a pair of scissors. "Don't fight this, Zelda. I don't want your blood all over my tiles." She started cutting the knots from my hair and I sobbed into my hands, feeling the weight of my hair falling down at my feet. The water was somehow even colder now, biting me in a way that it felt like needles were being pushed deep into my skin. "There we go," she finally announced a while later.

The thought unsettles me. “Mate…” I whisper. My sister betrothed is my mate. What’s fate trying to teach me? Or is my life meant to always be this hard? “Our bond with Zyle is nothing out of the ordinary,” Kendra continues. “And I’ve been deprived for long, Lily.” I frown despite my weakness. “Who’s Zyle?” “Xaden’s wolf,” she replies. “Mine.” My breath catches. There’s so much she knows. And so much I don’t.

The air felt changed—like the forest was holding its breath. Selene paused just outside the cabin, her hand finding Theoden’s. “We’re almost there,” she whispered. Theoden squeezed her hand. “And we’re not alone.” The cool air wrapped around them, crisp and silent. Selene squeezed Theoden’s hand gently as they moved through the trees. Then Theoden froze. Selene turned to him. “What is it?” His jaw clenched. “Luka,” he said through their mind-link The mind-link was faint, fragmented.

Ric grinned. “Wait, I didn’t find one.” El stated. “And you won’t.” I whispered. “I hid it. Good luck finding it.” My head snapped back as she punched me in the face. Yep there’s my nose breaking again. “Tell me where it is.” “No.” She punched me again. “Tell me Zelda.” I spit out blood. “Not gonna happen.” “Unchain her.” El ordered Samus, Penn’s clone. He did as she said and yanked me to my feet.

When in reality, it was really me that was pulling the two of us behind. ‘Try contacting Nicolo again,’ Leia said. ‘It will work now, I used some of my voodoo magic. But promise me that after this you will have to focus on not getting killed.’ ‘Promise,’ I said and then let Leia take control. ‘Nicolo,’ I called out again. ‘Athena?’ Nicolo’s voice came in unsure. ‘Yes,’ I replied. ‘Don’t be afraid, I am using the mind link. Kinda a wolf perks.’

It’s been a couple of weeks. “Lily, why are you awake? It’s too early for you to be up for training.” I don’t say anything. “Lily?” Aolis’s voice gets soft in a way he knows I have a hard time avoiding. “I couldn’t sleep, so I finally let Hera go for a run. We met GoldMoon who apparently is magical enough to mind link with us.” Now it’s his turn to be silent. “Aolis?” “GoldMoon mind linked you?” “She did. She told me her name, that she is the Ceryneian Hind and that she is one of the protectors of the forest.”

As I walked past Lena's room, I noticed her door slightly open. I stopped, looking behind me then back at her door. I moved slowly towards it and tapped my fingers on the knob prompting the door to creak open, but the room was empty. Her bed was arranged and the curtains……………….. I frowned at the empty sight as I my wolf growled inside with panic. She had left. There was no trace if her in the room. “We need to find her.” My wolf went alert. “She couldn't have gone far.” I rushed forward, heading down the stairs to the front door, but a faint crashing sound of utensils from the kitchen caught my attention. I decided to follow the sound hoping for the best.
